CONCLUSION
• It wraps up your writing by summarizing the main idea for
your readers. This brings your writing to a smooth close
and creates well- written answers to your research
questions.
• In the conclusion part, no new information is expected.
Researchers reconsider the research questions and
draw answers for these questions.
• Hence, conclusions are precise statement that directly
answers the stated research questions.

HOW TO WRITE CONCLUSIONS?
1. Avoid merely summarizing.
2. State your conclusion in a clear and simple
language.
3. Do not just reiterate the discussion of your results.
4. Avoid using numerals, figures, or simply repeating
the results.
5. Indicate opportunities for future research.

TIPS IN REVISING YOUR RESEARCH PAPER
1. Avoid informational gaps.
2. Read your paper aloud or have someone else

RESEARCH ABSTRACT
• Overview. An abstract is a short summary of
your completed research. It is intended to
describe your work without going into great
detail. Abstracts should be self-contained and
concise, explaining your work as briefly and
clearly as possible.

HOW DO YOU WRITE A RESEARCH ABSTRACT?
An abstract summarizes, usually in one paragraph of 300
words or less, the major aspects of the entire paper in a
prescribed sequence that includes:
1. The overall purpose of the study and the research
problem(s) you investigated;
2. The basic design of the study;
3. Major findings or trends found as a result of your
analysis; and,
4. A brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions.

• It is a list of references that is created at the
end of your research paper.
• This resource discusses either all the sources
that were used to create the work or just those
that were cited in the work. The type of
citation page you create depends on the style
that you use.
