ACTIVITY : STORY NARRATION

THE RESOURCEFUL FROG

One day two frogs were playing in a field. Suddenly it started to rain and the frogs headed
towards a nearby house for shelter. They entered the kitchen and started hoping onto the
shelves. Suddenly they lost there balance and fell into a large vat full of milk. The frogs tried to
get out but could not. After sometime, one of the frogs became tired.”I can’t swim anymore,”
he said and sank to the bottom and was drowned. But the other frog did not lose heart. He kept
on swimming and his motions churned the milk into the butter. This delighted the frog for he
was able to climb on to a pat of butter and jump out of the vat safe.
