How to Configure and Access COSEC APTA?

We can use COSEC APTA mobile application to mark punches, view attendance data, leave
application and attendance correction and approval process.

Prerequisites:
1. ESS license is mandatory.
2. Android V4.0 or iOS V7.0 onwards OS based handset is recommended.

Configuration:

• Go to Users Module followed by User configuration and enable User’s ESS account.

Edit Basic Details - Select this check box to enable the selected users to edit basic details on
their ESS accounts.

Punch marking via ESS - Select this check box to enable users to mark their attendance
punch manually from their ESS accounts.
Now open Cosec APTA application and go to settings.

Select COSEC
CENTRA/VYOM
/ PANEL as
required

Go to settings
 Enable secured communication mode if COSEC Web is running on HTTPS.
 You can connect to COSEC APTA in local network or public network.
 Select your preferred network type: External/Internal as per the network configuration.

Assign
external IP
address.

Assign internal
IP address.
 Once the User is logged in COSEC APTA, they will able to view below icons in mobile
application.

 Reporting In-charges are having the feature of authorization for approval


/rejection/view the applications of Their team members.
 Users can use “Access Control” feature, if “allow door access through API” feature is
enabled in User’s ESS configuration.

 My Attendance Page will show User’s Attendance summary, Daily Summary, Requests,
Events, Leave Balance and Holiday List Etc.

 To mark punch through APTA, “punch marking via API” feature should be enabled in
user configuration.
