    PHARMACODYNAMICS: Methoxamine acts through peripheral vasoconstriction by acting as a pure
    alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist, consequently increasing systemic
    blood pressure (both systolic and diastolic).[1]
    DRUG INTERACTIONS: Amoxapine may increase the vasopressor activities of Methoxamine. [2]

    Amitripyline may increase the vasopressor activities of Methoxamine. [2]

    Amytriptylinoxide may increase the vasopressor activities of


    Methoxamine. [2]

    Albuterol , using methoxamine together with albuterol may increase


    cardiovascular side effects such as elevations in heart rate and blood
    pressure or irregular heart rhythm. [4]

    Savella, both milnacipran and methoxamine can increase blood pressure


    and heart rate, and combining them may enhance these effects. [5]
