    Dear Parents,
    Assalam-o-Alaikum
    Come August, and it’s time to restart, recharge and regroup for a fresh start! I, once again, would like
    to extend a very warm welcome to you. I believe in developing strong relationships between the
    school and our children’s parents as together we will be able to provide the support that students
    need to excel throughout his or her educational career. A special thanks to the parent community for
    their invaluable support at all times. We are confident that the time your child spends during the
    Academic year 2021 – 2022 would be enjoyable as we have planned a variety of activities for the
    entire year. We believe that it is important to allow the child to develop at his own pace, through
    continuous encouragement, praise and positive reinforcement of self-image. With the virtual
    learning set up, it is expected from students to visit Google Classrooms on regular basis. Parents are
    requested to follow the given guidelines
    1. Set up a working station at a quiet place for your child.
    2. Help your child make a timetable and encourage him/her to follow it.
    3. Make sure you visit google classrooms at least once a week to monitor your child’s progress.
    4. It is expected from the students to use chair and desk set up for all the Live classes.
    5. Students must enter the virtual classroom on time using the Zoom Meeting ID given on the
    HSS Connect for that particular subject. Attendance by the teacher will be marked within the
    first 5 minutes. Any student who will join after that will be marked absent.

    A great deal of time, effort and thought has gone into the process of student placement for the 2021-
    2022 school year. Careful consideration was given to input from staff as well as student learning
    styles. Classrooms have been balanced academically and socially. Moving students is difficult
    without causing imbalance. I will be grateful to you for being positive in this regard. This will help
    students understand that it is impossible to place all students with a preferred best friend or
    teacher. ALL of our staff works hard to make school a positive experience for ALL students. Thank
    you for understanding that it can take a few weeks for a child to acclimate to a new grade, peer
    group and teacher.

    Syllabus Pack Collection:


    Parents are requested to collect the syllabus pack of the students as per the following schedule in
    between 09:00a.m. – 1:00 p.m. from the school office. In case of sibling, packs can be collected on
    any of the following days.
    Tuesday, August 10, 2021 – Grade II and Grade IV
    Wednesday, August 11, 2021 – Grade III, Grade V and Grade VI

    Appointment:
    To have a virtual or in person one to one meeting with the Principal or the class teacher,
    appointments can be made by making a phone call on the following telephone numbers 021-
    36405068-69. or email [email protected]

    Communication:
    We will be sending all kinds of communications to parents, such as circulars, event information and
    invitations on HSS Connect and on your school’s official email id. Kindly visit HSS Connect and check
    your emails frequently. You are also requested to go through the policies, rules and procedures
    available on the Connect with your child for better understanding of virtual school and hybrid school.
    We have people at all levels to guide you and your child through the educational journey and I want
    you to know that we will be alongside you all the way. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to
