1. What is Rizal's main message in this letter?

Points that truly captured my interest in the letter, as well as my interpretation
on what Rizal really meant, are that justice will be served when the opportunity arises.
He anticipated that the friars and the Spanish government would get a taste of their
own medicine as a result of Rizal's work. He was already aware of the brutality and
cruelties perpetrated by the Spaniards against his fellow countrymen at an early age,
prompting him to swear vengeance and retribution to those who had been wrongfully
hurt. He believes that one day our country will be free of the circumstances that rob us
of our liberty.

3. What does the letter tell you about nineteenth century Philippines?
The letter describes how the Filipinos were mistreated in the nineteenth
century. It demonstrates how the friars and Spaniards exploited our right to quietly
conduct ourselves in our own country. During the Spanish regime, it appears that the
Filipinos bent their knees and walked on their toes. It also permits us to recognize the
truth: that injustice and cruelty exist, and that they are our country's primary worry.

For me the letter was cut short and was unable to answer this question: “Was
Rizal able to keep his word, and was he successful in seeking retribution on our
country?”

The answer to the question can be found and is present up to this day because
we are now enjoying the freedom that we once lost.

1. What are the aims of the newspaper, La Solidaridad?

La Solidaridad aims to promote transparency and democracy through their
service. The publication's goals are to operate peaceably on progressive reforms, to
display the Philippines' depressing situations so that Spain can be of help, to resist the
wicked influences of response and obsolete values and beliefs and to promote liberal
concepts and development. Also It also strives to collect and organize libertarian
concepts that are expressed on a daily basis in legislation, research, art, literature,
trade, farming, and business.
2. What are the ill effects of "theocracy" and "conservatism"?

A theocracy obtains its foundations from divine inspiration, even if it is
economically conservative. Theocracy is a combination of religious faith and
government. On the other hand, when used in association with the phrase
"liberalism," conservatism indicates "to carefully examine one's actions to protect the
well-being of the whole based on known information, rather than acting on false or
misleading ideals and unproven techniques for the quest of fulfilling needs." To
answer the question, there is no essential or "actual" authority behind secular
Conservatism's main beliefs, hence any negative consequences are unavoidable. And
on the theocratic side one of the issues it raises is the difference between canonical
authority and papal authority. Present government has no way of directly answering
particular data in depth unless they are explicitly addressed by pointing to a historical
source. They must "understand" what they should do by deducing norms from the
material they have. Both concepts has a sinkhole that may be misleading and vague to
others with disagreeing beliefs.
3. What does the article tell you about nineteenth century Philippines?
The Philippines were dominated by Hispanics in the nineteenth century, as per

this text. Economic reforms in Europe were starting to have an impact on Spain and,
as a result, the Philippines. Civil and democratic rights are being taken away from
Filipinos. Our propagandists are doing everything they can to gain and obtain the
liberty that the Filipinos so well deserve, as the story revealed.
4. What is a propagandist?
A propagandist is someone who has knowledge to information that can be
utilized to support or popularize a movement or a perspective, as well as the capacity
to mold and convince the people to take action.
5. Based on the article, what are the propagandists' view of progress?

Base on the article the propagandists' interpretation of transformation is that it
is the work that will disseminate throughout countries and educate people of the
liberal democracy’s genuine form, which permits everybody to express their opinions
on current events and to make a positive impact and solution on the country’s primary
issues.
