The company basically produces drones for every use and it consists of drones of many sizes.
We consider drones to be the future of any logistics and surveillance systems. Our Aerial Drone
Photography & manufacturing Company will be registered and licensed business enterprise in
the photography industry that will specialize in aerial drone photography business. Although our
business will be based in Bengaluru, Karnataka where we were intend setting up our corporate
office, but we intend working for clients both in Indian market and international markets as well.
We will setup our manufacturing sites in Karnataka only. Our Company will be involved in the all
aspect of manufacturing and aerial drone photography &surveillance services such as Phase I
Environmental Site Assessments for property analysis, create orthophotos, alternatively known
as orthophoto maps (Orthophotos are commonly used in geographic information systems), in
cartography (particularly in photogrammetric surveys), which are often the basis for topographic
maps, land use planning, Archaeology, Movie production, surveillance, commercial advertising,
agricultural analysis of growth surveys, doctors can provide guidance to jammed patients in the
roads through cameras fitted in our drones.
Location
The key criteria for choosing any locations of my business model is to be based on logistics and
geographical statements. Also, there shouldn’t be any political disorders in those locations. As
our company’s product is innovative in nature for the current Indian market it is very essential to
consider competition factor for a location and awareness regarding that. The security for any
thought processes in our plants needs to be tight, there shouldn’t be any loss of information for
that we need a location that is distant from other manufacturing farms. We can consider any
locations based on the “Make in India” campaigns of our present government that will help us to
get benefits regarding incentives, land costs cut-off, subsidies for new innovative business
growing.
Nowadays, there is a great deal of awareness towards the maintenance of natural ecological
balance. Regarding the effect of pollution from the specific type of plants, social obligations are
to be met. The nature of the site selected should preferably have some advantages to meet
A stable and uninterrupted power is a required magnitude, without fluctuations in voltage and
frequency is important for the successful operation of the plant. Local availability of skilled and
semi-skilled manpower will add to the efficient running of the plant. Besides, you must study
labor relations through turnover rates, absenteeism, and liveliness of trade unionism in the
particular area.
The Government offers several incentives, concessions, tax holidays for few years, cheaper
power supply, factory shed, etc., to attract the entrepreneurs to set up industries in less
developed and backward areas. In this scenario, you must prioritize this factor in selecting
factory location.

Manufacturing Technology
Every part that are needed are produced in our manufacturing plat and some parts are also
outsourced from different suppliers in the China and other south-east Asian countries. Given
below will be the list of all the materials required for the production of a Drone and how it has
been sourced from outside or produced inhouse.
Frame – The main frame of the drone actually manufactured in our warehouse and it is
made of steel and it being molded from pure steel coupled with a carbon fiber coating in
a blasting furnace and constantly observed by team of Mechanical Engineers.
Depending on number of rotors that will fit in the drone divides the number and type of
the frame. The weight of each frame is tactically chosen for the proper CG balancing.
Tested by our experts. For the Viper Spy Copter 1.0 it is the only case in which we will
not manufacture the frame it will be outsourced from China
Motors – We will make the motors of our drone and it will be designed by our team of
experts comprising of mainly Electronics and Electrical Engineers. Each motor consists
of Brass winding inside that increases the efficiency of the motors. Each drone needs 4
motors in total and it can be handmade as for a drone motors are small size
equipment’s.
ESCs or Electronic Speed Control – This is a small chip and each motor of the drone
is connected to it and it controls the speed of each motors and it being given signal for
the speeds through the remote control. This product is manufactured inhouse and its
handmade and produced by Electrical and Software engineers.
Propellers – Produced inhouse in the automatic machines which gives the shape them.
Each drone needs minimum 4 propellers.
STEP 1: MAKING THE FRAME - No matter what your drone is going to be, it must have
a frame. So, the first task is to make a frame.
STEP 2: PROPELLERS, ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROLLERS, AND MOTORS –
This is when all these things either produced or outsourced will come together and get
fitted in the Frame.
STEP 3: ASSEMBLE THE MOTORS
STEP 4: MOUNT THE ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROLLERS
STEP 5: ADD THE LANDING GEAR
STEP 6: FLIGHT CONTROLLER - Every flying drone must have a control system. This
electronic system allows a drone to be stable in the air while flying and processes all the
shifts and changes in direction and wind. There are two options when it comes to this
step.
STEP 7: CHOOSING A RIGHT RC TX-RX (WIRELESS REMOTE-CONTROL SYSTEM)
STEP 8: MOUNT THE FLIGHT CONTROLLER
STEP 8: MOUNT THE FLIGHT CONTROLLER - Once you choose the particular flight
controller, you need to mount it. For instance, you can place it on the top of the frame in
a certain direction, but you need to make sure that all the components are fixed well
before calibrating your drone. For this purpose, you can also use the aforementioned zip
ties
Management
I am a Mechanical Engineer and my skills in Robotics as being a part of many Robotics
technical fests organized by IITs and different technological societies makes me build this idea
of building a manufacturing farm of drones in India. I am doing a PGDM program in Supply
Chain and Operations want to look into the service sector in my company.
