Subject : RegRiser - A NEW FEEDER TYPE Datum / Date : 29.08.10

“Do more for less” is the new mantra for the future.
I- a foundry engineer with long term experience - support you in
achieving this dream of yours come true in your foundry site.

It’s not costly, but it’s sustainable as far as energy

consumption, material consumption and other cost items are
concerned- and it is adaptable to your needs.

With the help of good software for simulation of solidification

of castings made for Grey- , Vermicular- or Nodular- Iron you
can reduce the weight/volume of the feeders remarkably.
The only request is the use of our new feeder type: RegRiser

With the use of it, the yield goes up and the costs go
down.
In most of cases the use of sleeves or other exothermic
materials will become unnecessary.
Simulation of solidification is used in so many foundries and it’s
a pity that in most of the cases it’s not used to reduce the costs
on running parts.
What’s the RegRiser? It’s simply the geometrical shape of it,
which makes the difference.
The use of simulation of solidification process together with the
application of the RegRiser became already a great success
story for smart people using it.
8 foundries world wide in Asia, Arabic country, Europe, South
America and USA have already taken over the idea and they
appreciate the advanced but really simple technology. For a
better understanding, have a look at the following study on a
virtual casting made of Nodular Iron.
The simulation speaks for itselves.
nothing is permanent except change
