Instructions for Bot Submission

This document provides instructions to rename the output file, save the bot files in the required
format for evaluation and submit your bots.

Read the instructions in this document carefully.

Renaming the Output File

Make sure your output files are named using the format
youremailaddress_Bot_number_Output.xlsx.

Example

If your email address is [email protected] then:

The output of the first used case should be renamed as:

[email protected]_Bot_1_Output.xlsx

The output of the second use case should be renamed as:

[email protected]_Bot_2_Output.xlsx

The output of the third use case should be named as:

[email protected]_Bot_3_Output.xlsx

Important Note

a. Use the same email address that you use to log into Automation Anywhere University.
b. Ensure the email format is as follows: [email protected]. Note that
[email protected] is incorrect. The email naming format is case
sensitive.

Saving the Bot Files for Evaluation

1. Use the site: https://rpademo.automationanywhere.com/mcbe/ to get a text version of

your A2019 bot code. Open it in a browser on your system.

Note
This site will log you out of your Control Room, so ensure you save all your work.
It gives you a text file version of your bot and does not store any of your credentials.

2. Use a different browser to log into your Automation Anywhere Community Edition and
open the first bot in the workbench or flow view (edit mode).

3. Copy the URL of that page.

log into Automation Anywhere Community Edition or the cloud Control Room to build
bots.

7. In the Enter the password for this account: field, enter the same password you use to

Submitting the Bot Files

Ensure you follow the steps below in the correct sequence.

1. Save all the three output files (.xlsx) and the three bot code files (.txt) in one folder. Ensure
the name format is the same as mentioned in the previous section of this document.

2. Name the folder using the email address that you use to log into Automation Anywhere
University.

3. Zip the folder after renaming it.

4. Ensure the zip file is your email address.zip. The email address should be the same as the
email address you use to log into Automation Anywhere University.

5. Add a .psd extension to the zip file. Your file should be your email address.zip.psd.

For example, if your email address is [email protected], your submission file should be
[email protected].

If you are unable to change the file extension, enable the File name extensions checkbox.

When you unzip the file, you should get a folder named with your email address and it
should contain 6 files (3 output files in .xlsx format and 3 bot code files in .txt format).

If the output is any different after unzipping the file, the automation system deployed to
evaluate the bot will consider this as an invalid attempt. You will not be provided any extra
attempt, if it is considered invalid.

6. Ensure you submit the file your email address.zip.psd in the Click here to submit your
bots section in Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional (A2019).
