Lesson Plan 1
Lesson Plan 1
Speaking activity in which the teacher evidence students' previous knowledge through
some statements regarding the construction field; those statements will be available in a
sheet of paper along with a crossword. While the teacher is reading the statements,
students take notes and share a possible definition among them, they will also have the
possibility to look for it in their electronic devices in order to propose one word that fits
into the crossword, if the students are not able to find the word, the teacher will
complete the activity.

Share with students Annex 2 to provide students a chart where they can take notes,
through this chart students will be able to comment and share information regarding the
construction field including those students whose linguistic performance is lower and the
others.
Here we can click on the link below to watch the video. Play it at least twice, the first
one before handing the chart and the second one is for them to take notes. Click here

Once the activity is completed, students can compare their charts with the rest of the
group.
The teacher can randomly ask some students to answer the questions proposed at the
beginning of the activity.
Closure ( 15 minutes/ In pairs ): Provide students a reading ( see Annex 3 ) where they
will analyze the content and then make judgments from their own point of view the
following these implication implications: how to treat coworkers at work, what tools are
more necessary than others, what material need it for construction. Ask learners to
justify their responses in their notebooks.
