Lisa: Hello. I see you’re new to our club. I’ve been a member for nearly a year no. Why
did you decide to join?
You: I joned the gym club because I want to have good health myself, be able to lose
weight and have the body and have a regular diet, and gain some muscle
Lisa: What do you enjoy about working out?
You: I enjoy the feeling of touching everything at the gym, it comes in different types,
shapes and machines where it caters to different parts of the body
Lisa: Apparently the club is going to start posting member’s weight loss on the website.
What do you think of this idea?
You: I think this idea is quite good, because it can meet the needs of women about
weight loss, and boys can increase their muscle, I find this quite positive because they
we can both help everyone and make a profit for the gym

You are talking to Todd in the club chat room. Talk to Todd using complete sentences.

Todd: Hello. I see you’re new to our cub. I’ve been a member for nearly a year no. Why
did you decide to join?
You: I joined the talk club because it suits me, I'm a pretty optimistic and cheerful
person, and I love to talk, but outside no one can talk to me so I joined the club. Join the
club so you can find people to listen and share with you
Todd: What do you enjoy about learning languages?
You:I love learning languages because I can communicate with many different people, I
can make friends with many people from all over the world, and learning languages
gives me confidence in communication and it doesn't interfere for the difference of
repeating the language and not understanding the language of your country
Todd: Apparently the club is going to start posting member’s reasons for learning
languages on the website. What do you think of this idea?
You: I think this idea is very true because now everyone is rushing to find the best
places to teach, the best places to teach languages, for them to learn, we post and
show them the effectiveness. will be able to get more members, and profit from it
Exercise 3: Social Network
You are a member of the new social network site called FriendFace. You are talking to
Joanne in the online chat room. Talk to Joanne using sentences. Use 30 to 40 words
per answer. You have 10 minutes.
Joanne: Hi! I see you’ve joined FriendFace. I joined because I’m a photographer and
can’t wait to see peoples’ photographs of places they have been and the things they
have done! Why did you join?
You: I join this online club because I am a rather lonely person, quite closed, and do not
dare to meet face to face outside, so I join these clubs to help myself become stronger,
easier to experience. I am more in love with society
Joanne: How do you feel about the website? Do you like the homepage and the
FriendFace search page?
You: I feel very grateful for this website because thanks to it I have made many friends
from all over the world, can open my heart more, I really like that homepage and search
site because thanks to it, so many people like me have I can open my heart more
Joanne: I also really like the option to put videos online, what kinds of things do you like
posting?
You: I love posts about finding friends to talk to, finding friends to do homework with,
finding friends to hang out with, and finding a life partner
Exercise: Cycling Club

You have recently joined a cycling club. You are talking to M in a chat room of the club.
Answer M using complete sentences. Use 30-40 words per answer. You have 10

M: Welcome to the club! I’ve been a member for about 2 years. Why did you join?
You: I joined the bike club because I am a speed lover and I love running, I learned to
ride a bike when I was five years old, so you probably know why I love this sport okay?
M: How do you like it here?
You: I like it because I find it quite convenient, can both protect the environment and
can exercise health, and help you increase height and gain muscle significantly.
M: Are you going to take part in the Marathon next month?

You: I will definitely participate in the Marathon next month, that's what I've been looking
forward to since joining the club, the feeling of racing it makes me more excited
