Adjectives with Ed and ING

An adjective is a Word that describes the noun. There are many types of adjectives and in
this page, we will focus on the ones that end in ED and ING.

 ED adjectives

This kind of adjectives describe or talk about emotions. They say how people feel about
something. In this vein, adjectives with ED can only be used with people.

Examples: I am bored in this class. I will sleep.

I will be surprised if she comes with me to the party.

He was tired and went to take a rest.

 ING adjectives

Adjectives with ING describe your opinion about something or someone. People or things
can have ING adjectives.

Examples: In my opinion, that movie was really boring.

This man is so annoying. He keeps talking about nonsense things.

This situation is worrying!!! I don’t know what to do.
