version and there is no need for any upgrade.

If the displayed Map version is 02.xxxxxx, your product is updated with CNSD-100FM
and you can not install this update.

settings, …

now ready for use.

Firmware Update FAQ

Q: What if my set does not switch on automatically after updating the software or starts up
more than once?
A: Turn off the ignition key and turn on again – the set should start up now.

Q: What if the set displays a red screen during software upgrade?

A: Check the error message;
In case the error message is: “Search Files Error: \Storage Card\LPUE080\APL3\*.*”
Although the folder APL3 doesn’t contain any files, it should be present on the SD card;
probably you used a decompression tool which doesn’t unzip empty folders. As a solution
you should use another decompression tool or you can create the APL3 folder manually
(\LPUE080\APL3)

In all other cases: Turn off the ignition key and turn on again – the set should restart the
update. If the unit should show a red screen again, re-download the firmware and try again

Q: What if I cannot upgrade my set / the set does not show the start up screen after more
than 1 attempt?
A: Please contact your local Pioneer service organisation for a product check-up.
