Biography
Kang Chol Hwan was born into a loyal family that had once lived in the large Korean
community of Japan. In Kyoto, his grandfather had been supporter of Kim II Sung,
North Korean’s Great Leader since 1945. In 1961 the grandfather returned with his
family to North Korea and had important government post.
Within months, however, he was complaining to friends that North Korea was not the
country he had expecteD. He was shocked to see so much poverty, which he eventually

Crispy Hash Brown Recipe


Ingredients:
3 tbsp olive oil, canola oil or grape seed oil
I l brussel backing potatoes, peeled and grated, salt and pepper.
Method:
1. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a large frying pan on medium heat.
2. Squeeze out as much moisture as you can from the grated potatoes. It's easier

Longago, at the foot of a mountain, lived a crab. On a warm spring day, the crab walked

seed home and planted it.
Soon the seed grew in to a small bud and became a big tree. It made a lot of red fruits.
The crab wanted to eat the fruit, but she could not climb the tree. Then the monkey
came again, climbing the tree and eating the fruits. The crab begged the monkey to pick
some for her and her kind. Yet, the selfish monkey took a hard-green fruit and threw it
to the crab. She was smashed very hard.
The crab’s kids started to cry and their noise attracted other animals. They soon found
out what happened. The king of the animals decided to give the monkey a punishment.
