Safety, warnings and cautions

dangerous, any panel or cover must be removed, except by
personnel authorized by the manufacturer.

Never leave a lit DUOTECHNOLOGY open or unattended

during the maintenance.

DUOTECHNOLOGY weighs 17kg, and it can cause injury if

Techniques warring and cautions

1. If an accessory falls, you should not connect it

 1. Introduction

The device is an innovative system DUOTECHNOLOGY cavitation and radiofrequency for

aesthetic treatments.

This manual is intended to provide to the user all information about DUOTECHNOLOGY
instructions for use, treatment, control, safety cautions, installation, and maintenance of the
equipment, use and care helping the system, but proper training to be essential in implementing
of cavitation for aesthetic treatments. The manufacturer provides training courses about
DUOTECHNOLOGY use that you can access.

This manual includes the following sections:

 Description: Overview of the various subsystems of the computer DUOTECHNOLOGY

(cavitation + RF)
 Security: It contains explanations and instructions about the security measures
necessary to operate the equipment DUOTECHNOLOGY.

 2. Description of the equipment

The DUOTECHNOLOGY ultracavitation and radiofrequency device is a equipment that

facilitates the removal of fat cells (fat) through the physical process of cavitation, allowing easy
removal of fat through natural processes such as urine or lymph system, currently the device
most innovative in the professional beauty sector for to combat the cellulite and fat deposits
accumulated.

DUOTECHNOLOGY runs through front panel buttons. At all times the screen informs the user
of the status of the device and available alternatives.

 3. Installing, unpacking and turn on

DUOTECHNOLOGY equipment is designed so that minimal preparation required for

installation.

Device Location

The device should be placed on a surface to ensure sufficient stability and strength that
properly support the weight of the device. It is important that the surface is at the
proper height to allow for ergonomic use of the equipment and accessories.

Keep the unit away from sources of heat. Keep enough space around the device to
ensure proper ventilation, especially be sure not to block the vents on the near panel
and side panels.

Electrical Requirements

DUOTECHNOLOGY comes adjusted for local voltage, as has been requested by the
customer.

Verify that the equipment is perfectly configured to the tension of the place. Otherwise
the device could be damaged or malfunction.

DUOTECHNOLOGY is grounded through the grounding conductor of the power cable

that plugs into the connector on the wiring. A proper ground is essential for safe use of
the device.
Power lines must be free of transient voltage or current spikes, brownouts, or over
voltages.

The fuses on the device are 2A for voltage 250V ~. The equipment is fitted with a fuse.
In the event that it is based is mandatory to replace it with one of the same features to

Environmental requirements

Air Quality
DUOTECHNOLOGY must operate in a non-corrosive enviorment. Corrosives such as

Transport and unloading - Transport indoors.
All transportation and unloading operations must be followed according to current

Suspension".

The packed materials in wooden boxes or cartons must be transported and displaced
with appropriate means such as trucks, traspalles, using appropriate methods.

The staff employee must to use the appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves,

The same attention should be on the cutting operation of any metal bands used to
secure the packing material.

The device is designed to be lifted from the bottom. Transportation can be done by
lifting the unit by the two handles provided, or pulling it through the wheels you have.

Important Warnings

It is mandatory that any person who will act as operator with this equipment please read these
warnings and instructions to ensure proper use of equipment.

1. Under no circumstances applied to varicose veins.

2. Never apply over the knee. You can work on the inside of the leg 5cm before reaching
the knee. "Cavitation"
3. Never apply on the elbow.
4. Do not apply in the groin. "Cavitation"
5. Do not apply on the spine. "Cavitation"
6. It should not be used in people who have internal electronic implants such as
pacemakers, or in areas with a metal implant.
7. Do not use in pregnant woman.
8. It should not be applied to patients suffering from cholesterol. "Cavitation"
9. The minimum time between sessions should be 72 hours and radiofrequency cavitation
24-48h.
10. The maximum treatable per session, must to be 45 - 50 minutes.
11. If the costumer has a bruise, not work that area until it disappears.
12. Do not press the pedal to the head is in contact with the skin (the bad electrode contact
may cause small burns)
13. During the treatment does not rise the head of the skin, it must always be in full contact
with the skin.
14. For caution of the operator, never must touch the ceramic head with your fingers
(cavitation). Continued exposure may cause future injuries.
15. Do not put hands in the scope of cavitation. This could cause adverse effects in the long
time to your health.

Treatable areas

Legs:

Outside area (hips). Treatment limits on the outside areas of the legs. The treatable areas
cover from the waist to 5cm before the knee.

Rear area (femoral area). Treatment limits on the back area of the leg. The treatable area
covers from the gluteus to 5cm before the knee. NEVER ON THE KNEE.

Inside area. Treatment limits on the inside area of the leg. The treatable area begins at 5cm
over the groin and ends at 5cm over the knee. NEVER ON THE GROIN.

Arm:

The arm treatable areas begin at 5cm over the armpit and at 5cm before the end of the elbow.
NEVER ON THE ELBOW.

Abdomen and sides:

In order to do these treatments the costumers must be leaning, sitting, causing thicker to the fat
layer. Do not work perpendicularly, towards the stomach.

Major cautions and warnings relating to the application

The team can’t be used in people:

1. That has internal electronic implants such as pacemakers.

2. If the customer is pregnant.

3. Do not use in people who are suffering infections.

such as mobile phones or laptops, microwaves... they may cause disruption or damage to the
unit

DUOTECHNOLOGY device has been designed and manufactured according to current

regulations on Electromagnetic Compatibility 89/336/EEC. The directive provides that electrical
equipment does not generate electromagnetic interference. DUOTECHNOLOGY device is built
to generate and radiate radiofrequency energy. If you will not be used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause interference if it occurs, it is advisable to choose the following
countermeasures:

 Keep the equipment away from sensitive equipment and instruments.

 Relocate and change the orientation of the receiving antenna of radio or television.

 Feed the DUOTECHNOLOGY a socket placed on a power line differs from that in which

 7. Maintenance

General considerations

In DUOTECHNOLOGY device use should be taken into consideration the following periodic
maintenance:

 Before treatment should be carefully inspected the good insulation accessories always
checking any possible damage to the surface. If there is any damage on the surface of
any of the accessories should not be used.

 Before treatment must to inspect the cables and connectors of accessories to ensure
integrity. For any loss or damage, they should not be used and replacing it by a few
accessories that show no damage.

 After each treatment is essential to thoroughly clean all the accessories, like this, its life
will be extended the same time.

 Periodic inspections are recommended on each of the components of the computer,

and consult the dealer if they detect any anomaly.

 10. Problems and solutions
Although the DUOTECHNOLOGY device does not need to maintenance applications in
particular has been manufactured with high quality, in this section are some suggestions that if
followed, ensure longer life and perfect efficiency of the device.

 The unit no needs maintenance. In case of interference by improper handling and or

unauthorized use, the consequence will be suspension of warranty.

 Any repair to the equipment must be done by authorized personnel of High Technology
Products, SL.

 Is recommended that after 15 months and subsequently every 24 month to inspect inside
of devices from High Technology Products, SL.

 After 12 first months, a High Technology Products, SL specialized technician check follow
controls:

1. Review all cables and connectors of handle head.

2. Verification of output power

If operator during the treatment sees that the power does not work as heat source or abnormally
shaped or irregular, must request a technician check the equipment and verify the correct
power.
3. Replace of fuses
The equipment includes a spare fuse.

ATTENTION

Do not substitute other original fuses or circuit different calibre. Ask for the replacement of a
specialized technical assistance. Contact to the Technical Support for instructions.
If the fuse is replaced and burned again, is a symptom of repetitive damage. In this case no
substitutions made repeated, request assistance for a verification of the electrical part Technical
Support.

What to do if the device does not turn on?

The device does not start.

Check if the power cable is properly connected and the device is powered by its technical
characteristics.
Disconnect the unit power cable, wait at least 3 or 4 minutes and then check the integrity of the
fuses.

The head does not emit anything (not seen the classic acoustic hits)
It is possible that the glass inside the head is broken by an accidental fall from it. Contact to

After working normally, the head emits a hissing sound with the classic hit.

Shipment to Technical Service

 The device is designed for easy handling. If it is necessary to move the equipment from a
workshop to another place, It is necessary to do so with caution and always must to be
transported in horizontal position and inside of original packaging. It is very important to
keep the original packaging equipment.
 Instruction packing and returning the equipment
 Disconnect the power cable and remove the heads.
 Use the original carton and packing materials.
 If it’s possible, fill in the form of failure that came with documentation.
 Include all accessories of equipment too.
 If you don’t have the original packaging, contact with a professional company which will
ensure the correct packing equipment for subsequent delivery or collection.

 11. Contraindications and Warnings

DUOTECHNOLOGY should not be used in the following cases:

Cavitation Treatment:

 Patients suffering from cholesterol.

 Patients with thrombosis and/or thrombophlebitis.
 Patients treated with anticoagulants.
 Pregnant women.
 Metal prostheses.
 Pacemakers.
 Transplanted.
 Patients with malignancies.
 People are not sensitive to temperature.
 Infectious processes in action.
 People who suffer from unbalanced artery.

Radiofrequency Treatment:

 Pregnant women.
 Risk of thrombosis.
 Neoplasm (cancer).
 Do not use menthol products, alcohol or products that accelerate cell regeneration (glycolic
acids or fruit).
 Electrical and electronic implants connected to internal or external battery, or controlled such

 13. Warranty

1. DUOTECHNOLOGY system is guaranteed for 12 months from its sale, as long

as it has not been manipulated or intervened by no authorized personal, or if
there is no negligence using the system.

2. The guarantee is limited to the free repairing, with the replacement of pieces
that qualified technical staff from High Technology Products, SL found
exceptionally with manufacturing defects.

3. Not covered under guarantee pieces used and/or worn out for the normal use
and those that are damaged because of misuse or improper maintenance.

4. Repairing resulting from a mechanical shock, natural disasters, wiring defects or

improper use are not covered under guarantee. Likewise, any type of
manipulation, maintenance and/or repairing by unauthorized staff will result the
forfeiture of the guarantee.

5. Guarantee is not covered for defects or damages resulting from:

 Inadequate or inappropriate use by the customer.

 Operation not under the environmental specifications appropriate for the
product.
 Natural disasters.
 Wiring defects.
 Using non-original devices.
 Inappropriate installation.
 Use of cleaning fluids not recommended by manufacturer.
 The no consideration of the manual recommendations.

High Technology Products, SL. disclaims all liability for direct or indirect consequences
arising from improper use of equipment remain the same, technical competence. Also not
considered responsibility, regarding security, and disclaims all liability for damages caused
when:

 The site electrical system which is installed on your device, does not conform to
current standards.

 Without authorization, the container of device or accessories is open.

 For intrusions or unauthorized modification or has been given to computer misuse.

 Modifications and repairs that have not been carried out by qualified personnel
authorized by the High Technology Products, SL. The device will not be used
following the instructions in this manual, for either safety precautions or equipment
use.

The liability for damage arising from inadequate packaging is the customer. You must use
original packaging.

PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY BEFORE INSTALLING

THE EQUIPMENT it entails IMPLIED ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS.

Recommendations

Plug the machine into a grounded electrical outlet. Avoid using outlets where they are also
connected to air conditioners, copiers or other devices on and off regularly. Avoid using
multiple shots, especially when you have a cable connection to the net too long when other
devices are connected together as a magnifying lamp cold light, radio, electric hair removal
equipment, ....

The electrical network of the room must have a usual security checks to protect the system
from short circuits, overloading and insufficient voltages under current regulations.

Check that the cable is not damaged or frayed

Do not attempt to personally intervene and run the device just ordinary interventions
described in the manual.

If the following occurs, disconnect the device and send it to a technical service
authorizedby manufacturer:

 The cable or plugs are damaged.

 Liquid has entered into device.
 The appliance has been exposed to rain.
 The device does not work properly even when they have followed the instructions.
 The handle has been immersed in water.
 If the handle is damaged, it can damage the computer, not being in the post
warranty

CERTIFICATE OF WARRANTY

Please read this document which includes detailed information about warranty conditions and benefits and other
services and comment on the maintenance of equipment.

1. The name of manufacturer, make and model of equipment and serial number than identifies you, are
referenced on the label attached to the contract of guarantee.

2. The buyer agrees to check the material sent in accordance with the operating manual of the equipment and
the condition of the same within 24 hours of receipt.

3. The warranty does not cover any damage or abnormalities produced in the material received by the buyer,
and caused of transport. These should be covered by the insurance company transport. It is recommended to
make the claim within 24 hours of receipt the material.

4. The manufacturer warrants this product against any manufacturing defect for a period of 24 months from the
date of purchase To qualify for warranty coverage, it is imperative that the buyer stating the date of purchase,
so you should, for their own benefit, to keep with this guarantee, the bill that identifies the equipment. During
the first six months it is assumed that the defects existed at the time of the sales and during the remaining
period shall be tested by the buyer.

5. The manufacturer is responsible for costs incurred by the exchange of defective components and the labor
required during the warranty period.

6. The costs of transport or displacement of the technical staff are not covered by the warranty agreement.

7. Accessories, parts and materials used are subject to natural wear not covered by this guarantee. In any case,
any defect that is notify into the first month after the purchase, replacement will result after sending defective
items to the manufacturer models

8. Excluded from warranty are failures caused by: misuse or mishandling of equipment and accessories, as
stated in the instruction manual supplied with the equipment, negligence or lack of due care in its use,
damage from falls, bumps, agents external atmospheric phenomena and / or geological, vandalism or any
armed conflicts, as well as those derived from a defective or inadequate wiring and generally any cause
beyond the control of the manufacturer.

9. Not admit liability for any direct or indirect damage caused by equipment use. It also specifically disclaims any
liability for any damage that may directly or indirectly affect people or things, as a result of the failure of all the
requirements specified in the instruction manual with special attention to the warnings of use and
maintenance. The warranty does not extend, in any case, compensation for damages of any nature, possibly
occurring to people or things.

10. The product warranty is void if there is any kind of manipulation, but limited in one of its parts or components,
anyone not authorized by the manufacturer. Specifically, deletion, alteration or erosion of the serial number
results in loss of warranty. It is also void the warranty when the team has a use other than that specified in the
manual.

11. The warranty is valid only if contained in the same acquisition date and the signature and seal of the seller

12. For any repairs and / or replacement, you must provide a copy of the warranty. In the absence of guarantee
document, all repairs and interventions on the team, still under warranty, shall be made by the buyer.

13. In the event that the replacement of defective components not made in the manufacturer's premises, the
necessary labor will not be covered under warranty.

14. Warranty support can only be made by the manufacturer. All warranty services are carried out within the day
and work schedule established by law.

15. The team should be sent to the manufacturer exclusively in their original packaging.

16. Interventions under warranty, are charged to the buyer the costs and risks associated with transport of
equipment.

17. When the technical intervention by the manufacturer receives no manufacturing defects or impairments are
due to normal wear and tear, are charged to the buyer all expenses that entails, even if the computer is under
warranty.

18. The warranty cannot be modified by any verbal or written agreement.
