Gentlemen!
Naturopathy and Yoga is one of the most important gifts of the ancient civilization in the
world. The importance of naturopathy and yoga has been recognized in India since ancient times.
This is the oldest and best form of health. Assessing and ensuring the well-being of humankind using
the world's most comprehensive nature conservation list of plants, sunlight, water, air, etc.,
indicating the state of human health. It uses a set of criteria to assess and ensure the well-being of
mankind. The Naturopaths Association-Kerala (a Statutory Registered Organization) has been
promoting and enriching the principles, principles and practices of naturopathy for over forty years.
Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's teachings on empowering Indian villages through 18 pre -

independence programs, the organization promotes the importance of naturopathy and yoga. Since
the 1980s we have been focused on fulfilling social responsibilities through activities such as
seminars, classes, camps, and numerous books, periodicals, and publications on the subject. In the
welfare of alternative medicine .We were careful to fulfil our social responsibilities through
activities. We respect and recognize all entities in alternative medicine and welfare.
But in the absence of the administration of drugs in this particular system is not legally approved.
This system, which is deeply ingrained in the culture of our great India, has been taught, trained and
propagated in monasteries, temples, hospitals and gurukulas in almost every state of India.
Also, even senior naturopaths do not have a degree or diploma. It is not surprising that legal options
do not include representatives of this system on government committees, nominees or advisory
boards. As a result, there has been a setback in the recognition of courses and faculty. If there were
laws in place to provide education and training in naturopathy, they would also be able to issue
certificates for all students. The Hon'ble High Court of Kerala quoted the Under Secretary of Health
in this case as stating that permission was not required to start running yoga and naturopathy
institutions and observed that "the issuance of a diploma certificate is not prohibited unless there is
a ban on teaching."In some other countries, acupuncture and naturopathy are widely accepted and
even taught in allopathic medicine.

Although there are many naturopathic yoga groups in India providing education and training in this
field in almost all the states, there is no coordination or public forum at the national level to date.
Our organization stands for a common platform and coordination. There must be consensus among
all the groups involved in the mutual opposition to the legal recognition of degrees and diplomas.
The Central Government, which formed the Ministry of AYUSH included naturopathy in the Indian
medical system, should also give recognition to our public forum.
At this stage, the Naturopathy Association-Kerala launched a campaign highlighting the 18

guidelines formulated by Mahatma Gandhi before independence and requested to include the
importance of yoga and naturopathy as a subject in any class in all states schools and colleges in
India, as well as the principles and practices of naturopathy. We regularly sent letters to the
Hon'ble Prime Minister, several Union Ministers, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AYUSH and
CRRN in this regards .Thereafter , The H ble Prime Minister’s Yoga Day program set a world record
for a brilliant worldwide campaign which was acclaimed and appreciated all over the world.
There are several accredited and unrecognized medical colleges run by the government and
affiliated with universities. Many groups, organizations and institutions provide training and
education in this field. They conduct small training camps, diploma courses, graduate and courses in
this category. This process will continue for future generations in the history of yoga and
naturopathy in the coming centuries.
The Government of India has created an autonomous body of the CCRNN under the Ministry of
AYUSH by an Executive Order.
We therefore hereby humbly request that the following important steps be taken to preserve
this future actions for future generations:
1. The next NCISM bill should include naturopathy and yoga in medical education and clinical
practice. In addition, all graduates must be given Class A registration and all Diploma holders must
be subject to B class registration and legal regulation and accreditation.
2. Instead of issuing gazette notifications approving A class registration for trained graduates and B
class registration for trained diploma holders, a law is to be passed by all state assemblies.
3.According to the 18-point guideline program prepared by Mahatma Gandhi before independence,
naturopathy and Yoga principles and methods should be included in any level of lessons in all
schools and colleges in India.

4. Consensus on all differences between existing groups to form a national platform for naturopathy
and yoga and to adopt a set of basic criteria that include studies and experiments conducted over
the past decades. All differences between existing groups must be consensual in order to accept a
set of basic criteria. We request for unity in order to gain appropriate recognition. It also calls for
recognition of the largest comprehensive program for social integrity.
It is the need of the hour to carry out a brilliant worldwide campaign recognizing the liberation
theories of natural life and yoga to gain immunity and save human life from all pandemic deceases
that plague in all countries of the world. We hereby invite kind attention of all health workers,
authorities and humanitarians to work together in the face of this epidemic period.
