Itik-Itik Dance
Itik-Itik is a Philippines folk dance form created by imitating the “movements of a duck”
such as wading, flying, and short steps and splashing water on their backs like the ducks
do.
This module will allow you to know the steps of Itik-Itik dance, danced by Filipino,
therefore you are expected to
1. Execute the different skills involved in the dance (Itik-Itik) (PE6RD-IIIc-h-4)
1.1 Identifies the different steps and skills involved in the dance.
1.2 Observes safety precaution.
1.3 Executes the steps in the different skills (coordination, balance, focus) in

.Steps Involve in Itik-itik Dance
Entrance: stating with the right foot they execute 8 step ball-close, ball-close forward.
A step ball-close, ball-close is done by the right foot forward and raising the heel of the
foot by a slide of the right follows and the left foot is behind take a small step forward
on the ball of the right foot slide to the right closing the left foot behind again the trump
heads likely forward and as a straight hands the left arm makes two flap upward to
shoulder level as it flapping the wings were the right goes downward.

the reverse T-position, the back of the left hand is supporting the right elbow and the
right foot is crossing in front. When the left foot is in front the position of the arm are
reversed. Then take two steps, one step moving backward to their proper places. They
execute two walks steps to the right and left and arm are in the lateral position moving
sideward with their fingers flattering.

times to the left and right arm going over head alternately in a circular motion. They
repeat this with their backs to each other and both hands are under skirt.
