Dear JAYA PRAKASH MADIKI,

Your application for a visit visa to the United Kingdom has been refused.

What this means for you

Any future UK visa applications you make will be considered on their individual merits,
however you are likely to be refused unless the circumstances of your application change.
In relation to this decision, there is no right of appeal or right to administrative review.

The reasons for this decision are set out on the next page.

Yours sincerely,

RA
CHENNAI
REASONS FOR REFUSAL NRA v 1.0

You have applied for a visa to visit the UK.

In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: of the Immigration Rules for
visitors (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-v-visitor-
rules), I have considered:
 your application and any additional relevant information you have provided with it
 your immigration history
 @ the exchange rate of £1 =INR 93.52

The decision
 I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet
the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 of Appendix V.

 You intend to visit the UK for 13 days for tourism and intend to spend INR 150000.00
(£1603.93) on this trip. You state that your friend, Aidan Christopher Ashby will fund
all of this cost. In support of your application, you have provided his personal bank
statement from TSB, account number 6868 that shows an end balance of £123.88 as
of 01/02/2020. This statement shows that the funds held in this account are insufficient
to cover the cost of your trip. I am therefore not satisfied that your UK sponsor can or
will provide support for your trip. I therefore refuse your application under V4.3 (c).

 I have also assessed you on your own circumstances. You state you are a self-
employed advocate and have provided your Income Tax Return (ITR) documents in
support of your statement. I have noted your ITR 2019-2020 which shows your annual
income as INR 350336.00 (£3746.10). This equates to an averaged income of £312.17
of monthly income. You plan to spend INR 150000.00 (£1603.93) on this trip. This
amount represents over 5 times your monthly income. I am not satisfied that the cost
of this trip is proportionate to your length of stay or commensurate to your current
financial situation or that you are a genuine visitor to the UK. Therefore, your
application is refused under Appendix V 4.2 (a) and (c) of the Immigration Rules.
 Given the above, I am not satisfied that your circumstances are as you state or that
you are a genuine visitor and that you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit as
stated by you or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor for a period not
exceeding 6 months. Therefore, your application is refused under Appendix V 4.2 (a)
and (c) and V 4.3 (c) of the Immigration Rules.
