SITE INSPECTION AND TESTING PROCEDURE

6.3.6 Independent Testing Agency

EPC Contractor may require having certain tests performed by independent testing service providers as
required noted in the project specifications. It is the Contractor responsibility to ensure that these third
parties are testing the material to the proper standard and are utilizing calibrated instruments. EPC
Contractor shall witness the test performed by the independent testing agencies.

6.3.7 Welding Inspection

EPC Contractor will employ a competent independent specialist Welding Inspection Subcontractor to
perform all inspection and testing of welds on behalf of EPC Contractor. Conformance of all welds to
specification requirements doc. “9686-8470-SP-000-4005 – Welding and NDE of equipment & piping”,
9686-8210-SP-300-6006-Specification for pipeline welding & Inspection” shall be determined by
specialist sub-contractor. EPC contractor’s proposed welding Inspection Subcontractor shall be subject
to Company Approval. EPC Contractor will provide welds and associated records (radiographs and RT
records, UT records, MPT records, DPT records, etc.) to Company after these have been reviewed and
deemed to be conforming to specification requirements by EPC Contractor’s QC Competent personnel.

6.3.8 Non-Destructive Examination:

EPC Contractor shall provide all appropriate equipment for Non-Destructive Examination, including
radioactive sources, and facilities for the interpretation and storage of exposed radiograph films. EPC
Contractor shall comply with requirements of Region Procedure for Management of Radioactive
Materials and Radiation Generators and the Health and Safety requirements of the EPC Contract.

EPC Contractor shall provide a safe, secure and controlled repository suitable for storage of radioactive
sources, and other nucleonic devices.

EPC Contractor shall record the results of all tests and inspections conducted.

6.3.9 Dimensional Control

For equipment, Setting out shall be carried out with reference to latest version of approved drawings
03 and control points for each stage such as excavation, plain cement concrete, Foundation work, Anchor
bolt installation, equipment erection, etc.

Survey control shall be established from a proper grid system and baselines and bench marks located
onsite. Additional monuments shall be positioned to ensure maintenance of these control lines
throughout the Project.

Settlement records should be verified, as a minimum, upon foundation completion, equipment erection,
after equipment hydrotest (if applicable) and after piping start.

Foundations shall be marked with equipment / structure references, coordinates and elevation targets.
