Let’s move to… Hoi An

Hoi An in the middle of Vietnam is a little storybook town. It has a river, a

beach, countless rice paddies and one ancient heritage town, where hundreds of
lanterns are lit each evening. Hoi An means “peaceful meeting place,” and over
the centuries on the spice route the Dutch, Chinese, French, Indian and Japanese
all settled there, each contributing to the town’s mesmerising living
architectural history, preserved now as a world heritage site.

Go to Hoi An if you hang around with a bike, you will see the pace on the
streets very slow and poetic. Gold light all day, because many buildings are
painted a French colonial yellow. Let's try trekking through the mountains,
camping in Cu Lao Cham, or explore the colorful murals at Thanh Tan Village -
Hoi An is a great spot for day trips or weekends. More amazing is the street
food in Hoi An. Come here, you must decise to try a bread, fried pancakes,...
especially My Quang Noodles.

I am also a person living in the town, but when I come to Hoi An, I am really
surprised about the hospitality of the people here. Hoi An seems to be perfect
both as a place to live and a place to visit. Everything is really great!
