THOMAS ROBERTS
Hello, when are you getting here?
HARRY ANDREWS
Hi, I’ll be there soon just packing my bag to go.
Noah CLARK
He hasn’t left yet?
THOMAS ROBERTS
Ok, what time do you think you’ll get here (pause) urm…
hello… you still there?
Phone Hangs Up
Noah CLARK
He’s going to take ages, I don’t want to go in yet.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Me neither
Noah CLARK
You got any idea what to do?
THOMAS ROBERTS
No, not really. Guess we can skip some rocks across the
water while we wait.
Noah CLARK
Sure
(Window creaks and swings on one of the floors)
THOMAS ROBERTS
Did you hear that?
Noah CLARK
Y-yes I did, what place did Harry tell us to go to?
THOMAS ROBERTS
No idea, he always makes us go to weird places. I’ll try and
call him back before we do anything.
Noah CLARK
THOMAS ROBERTS
Noah CLARK
(shouts in the distance)
Come on over! I’ve found some good pebbles.
THOMAS ROBERTS
I’ll see If i can skip the rock 5 times.
Noah CLARK
5 times?
THOMAS ROBERTS
Yeah I probably can do it.
Thomas throws the rock and it doesn’t skip
Noah CLARK
Kick? Wait actually I might be better kicking to be fair.
Noah kicks the rock and it hits the branch and falls
THOMAS ROBERTS
The tree was definitely safer than the mattress.
Noah CLARK
I don't think either were safe.
THOMAS ROBERTS
That's true but there wasn't anything under the tree unlike a
bounce from a mattress.
Noah CLARK
Yeah but now my foot hurts, I kicked it on the weakest part
of the shoe.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Well that's smart… just sit down for a bit till Harry is
here.
Noah CLARK
I hope he isn't long.
40 Minutes later
Noah CLARK
We’ve been here for ages, I'm getting bored sitting here, how
long have we been here for?
THOMAS ROBERTS
It was 5:50 when we sat down and now it's 6:30 you do the
maths.
Noah CLARK
You could have just said 40 minutes.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Whatever, should we just go in or something? It's getting
cold.
Noah CLARK
I did say to bring a coat.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Yeah well I thought my hoodie would be fine. I'm going in if
you want to then follow me.
Noah CLARK
You sure about going in? I mean we could wait a little
longer.
THOMAS ROBERTS
No he’s taking way too long I'm going in.
Noah CLARK
Ok, I’m coming with you then.
Noah CLARK
It looks as bad as outside, inside here.
THOMAS ROBERTS
I mean it’s an abandoned house, not sure what you are
expecting.
Noah CLARK
Yeah I know. Look there are some shoes, they look old.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Yeah they do, probably from years ago. Not sure who would
forget their shoes.
Noah CLARK
Are we going to walk around then?
THOMAS ROBERTS
Yes but I’m not sure where to go first, where do you think we
should go?
Noah CLARK
Hmm, probably the kitchen but you're going first.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Okay If you are that scared I will.
Noah CLARK
I-I mean I’m not scared just want you to see it first.
THOMAS ROBERTS
(sigh) If you say so, we will go in the kitchen first.
Noah CLARK
This does look like it used to be a good kitchen shame people
left it.
THOMAS ROBERTS
There even are some cups in the sink left here.
Noah CLARK
This seat is comfortable for being 50 or more years old.
Noah CLARK
That’s going to break if I sit on it for any longer.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Yeah let’s just get out of this room.
They walk to the Office to look around Noah Pulls book down
to have a look at it. He reads the name of it.
Noah Clark
Look at this book. “Household Cleaning” the owners could have
used this. The house looks like the opposite of some pages.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Noah Clark
Oh yeah, guess that's a coincidence.
THOMAS ROBERTS
This desk has a really old pc on it. How good do you think
the keyboard is?
Noah Clark
I’m guessing all the keys are stuck or terrible.
Noah Clark
What Happened? Are we stuck here?
THOMAS ROBERTS
I was just pressing keys on the keyboard and I pressed 4 then
It closed, how do we get out?
Noah Clark
I don’t know. We need to get out
THOMAS ROBERTS
Did you just move?
Noah Clark
No
THOMAS ROBERTS
Then something is above us, is there a way of getting out
from here or are we trapped in?
Noah Clark
I think we are trapped here, we need to get out of here.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Follow me, let’s go into this room.
They go to the room and the door closes on them for the
office room
THOMAS ROBERTS
Did you do something again? The office door has now closed.
Noah Clark
No I’ve done nothing we left the room at the same time
THOMAS ROBERTS
We are now in this room and can’t go anywhere.
Noah Clark
The only way we can actually go is up those stairs
THOMAS ROBERTS
Follow me up the stairs. I don't know what else there is.
Noah puts his hand on the banister and the banister falls
off.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Careful! This house is the most unsteady thing one of these
stairs will probably break.
THOMAS ROBERTS
See, I told you it would break, jump up this stair and watch
out for any others
Noah Clark
Let me go up first.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Look! The stairs are falling behind us, go Quick!
The stairs are falling behind them quickly as they run up.
Noah Clark
Hold onto the side
We can’t keep up with how fast they are falling.
THOMAS ROBERTS
This wood isn’t going to hold us, try and stand on this.
Noah Clark
Ok, but this is really unstable. I’ll see if I can stretch to
it.
Noah Clark
I got to this side, It’s easier than you think.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Alright I’m going to do it now. Make enough room.
Noah Clark
Get over here quick, it's going to snap.
THOMAS ROBERTS
I'm up, we still gotta keep looking for a way of getting out.
Noah Clark
Follow me to this room, I see something.
THOMAS ROBERTS
You see that light up the ladder, I think it's a way out.
Noah Clark
How can we get up there? The metal looks rusty, looks like it
will move.
Thomas Roberts
It looks unsteady,I'm going to hold on to it.
Noah Clark
Yeah; the left leg has already changed shape just hold onto
that side.
Thomas Roberts
Ready, climb it and tell me what's up there.
Look up here, I see some light. It’s probably a way out
Noah climbs the ladder then puts his hands on the top of the
brick wall.
Noah Clark
Urm, there is nothing up here, it was a light.
Thomas Roberts
Ok just come back dow-
Noah Clark
The ladder broke, how can I get down now?
Thomas Roberts
Wait there, I'll look in another room.
Just. Don't. Move.
Noah Clark
I won't, just look for something.
Thomas Roberts
I'm going into this living room; I think that's what it is.
Noah Clark
You're back, did you get something.
Thomas Roberts
Look, I've brought it a chair but it's got cushions on it for
you to land on.
Noah Clark
As long as it breaks my fall and not bones I should be fine.
Thomas Roberts
Yeah, just jump down here it won't be that bad.
Noah Clark
So I already was having to jump across a gap to get to this
room now I'm stuck up here, I'm just unlucky; make sure it's
set up well
Thomas Roberts
It is
Noah Clark
Ok, ready
Thomas Roberts
Go
Noah Clark
I'm ok, but what a mess.
Thomas Roberts
It doesn't look as bad as the rest of this place.
Noah Clark
I’m going to brush the rest of the feathers off and go to the
final floor. I saw out the window that we can get out from
here.
Thomas Roberts
Yeah let’s go up, watch out for the stairs.
They walk up the stairs and open the door to the room
Noah Clark
This place is dark
Noah Clark
Watch out!
Thomas Roberts
What was that? Try and get to that window.
Noah Clark
Ok don’t walk into the boxes.
Thomas Roberts
Let me get my phone out for a ligh-
Noah Clark
Was, that an animal trap?
Thomas Roberts
Yes, I'm lucky my phone isn’t in that.
The door slams shut behind them and they can’t get out.
Noah Clark
We are dead, that's going to kill us.
HARRY ANDREWS
Noah Clark
What I thought I was dead, you almost killed us with those
stairs.
HARRY ANDREWS
What stairs? I didn't put a trap on any stair.
Thomas Roberts
How are we getting back down then.
HARRY ANDREWS
It’s fine I know another way down, look i got this tv to
work, it only has channel 1 on it i don’t know how to work
the rest.
HARRY ANDREWS
That’s enough of that, let's walk down stairs
HOMELESS MAN
Hello! Is anybody here?
Noah Clark
Uhhhh, who’s that, Go Go Go!
THE END
