Early Notfication Incentive


Investing resources in Killeen ISD employees.
KISD Employees will Receive a One-Time Check in May
Exempt: $1,000 net
Non-Exempt (Hourly): $500 net
Half time employees, or less, will receive half payment
RECRUITMENT RETENTION
INCENTIVE INCENTIVE
Applies to new employees hired for Exempt employees: Paid upon
the upcoming school year with a electronically signing your contract for the
start date no later than August 31, 2021-2022 school year by May 19, 2021.
2021. Non-Exempt employees: paid upon
Paid in the first paycheck. returning a signed letter of reasonable
assurance/intent by May 19, 2021.
RETIREMENT OPEN TO ALL EMPLOYEES:
NOTIFICATION The Auxiliary Computer Lab will be open
Paid for employees that notify the district May 13 - 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
of their intent to retire by June 2, 2021. for all employees to sign their
letter of intent to work/
contracts electronically.
Please Note:
An individual employee is only eligible for one incentive payment. The above analysis will not be
eligible to employees who resigned prior to May 11th, are non-renewed for next year, or do not
electronically sign their letter of reasonable assurance/contract by May 19, 2021.

The General Pay Increase will be applied in addition to Equity Adjustments.


STARTING TEACHER SALARY $52,000+
Additional KISD Stipends
Longevity Pay Stipend
Bilingual Stipend $5,000
SPED Self Contained Stipend $3,500
Signing bonuses for critical shortage positions
+$1,000 Recruitment Incentive

INVESTING AN ADDITIONAL $14.8 MILLION


IN EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION

MARKET RATE PAY INCREASES


+ Administrative Support up to 10%
+ Instructional Support up to 8%
+ Manual Trades up to 13%
Non-exempt staff equity adjustment = $5.7 millon
