    To whom it may concern:

    I have been an aspiring to be a barista at Starbucks and have pleasant comments about the
    work environment. I would be delighted to work part-time as a Barista.

    In the past few years I have been employed as a server at Denny’s and a sales associate at
    Rue21. I began my work as a server when I was 16 years old, and quickly learned how to adapt
    to a fast paced environment with multiple tasks. It was my responsibility to tend to diners'
    needs respectfully, prepare and assemble meals, and ensure all orders run smoothly. As a sales
    associate I spent most of my work at the cash register completing transactions. I am familiar
    with counting cash and performing special functions, such as discounts and voids, which would
    be useful for my desired position of a Barista.

    I am a senior at Crowley Collegiate Academy, which is an early college high school that has
    given me the opportunity to take college-level courses about communication, organization, and
    management skills. Throughout my attendance, I have learned my strengths and weaknesses of
    these skills and feel more than comfortable using them in the workplace. I am confident my
    skills in problem-solving and interpersonal relationships will aid in my success as a barista

    It would be a pleasure to meet for an interview to discuss more about the position and I firmly
