Product Dr Reddy’s products are classified into 3 categories global generic,


pharmaceutical services and active ingredients proprietary products and
others. Dr Reddy offer genric medicine, branded formulation,
pharmaceutical ingredients, biologics, specialty products and new
chemical entities. They sell 200 high quality generic medicine. Dr
Reddy’s have a strong portfolio of OTC medicine Cetrine, Ibuclin,
Novigan. Biologics are large molecule protein therapies which are
required by diseases like cancer or auto immune disorder.
Price Pharmaceutical sector is regulated and prices are affected by the policies &
regulation imposed by government. In order to make the medicine available
for everyone the prices has to be altered in order to cover the production
cost, the cost of the raw material keeps on fluctuating.
Place Dr Reddy laboratories is a global organization with decentralized
manufacturing with deep and wide market reach. Major market served
by Dr Reddy’s are USA, India, Russia, United Kingdom, Venezuela and
Germany. They also reach out to various other countries. Dr Reddy
Laboratories have 18 manufacturing units, 2 technology Development
centres and 4 R&D in India.
Promotion The products are advertised in Seminars, Symposium and other
customer relationship management activities hosted by company. The
promotional and patient education literature is checked by the product
management team and tea medical affairs. Engaging customers through
social media like face book, twitter, You tube.

Dr Reddy has a broad product line each and every category has various sub
category in it as human body differ from person to person so the molecule
concentration, strength of the medicine also vary which result in increasing the
product width. Dr Reddy has been moving forward with the market as per the
necessities. Production of generic medicines also adds ups to the sustainability and
increase in the market share with the price being affordable. In these hard times Dr
Reddy has partnered with Fujifilm for favipiravir to help the nation. They have
also launched generic prostate cancer treatment drug which add’s up to their value
and sustainability. Dr Reddy has been practising transparency in its reports since
2004 which provide detailed information about economic performance,
environmental footprint and social responsibility. As per now Dr Reddy has 200
products covering whole spectrum of diseases. Seven of their brands are listed in
top 300 brands of the Indian pharma market.
