ADVERBS OF FRECUENCY
SUMMARY
What are adverbs of frequency?
Adverbs that change or qualify the meaning of a sentence by telling us how often
or how frequently something happens are defined as adverbs of frequency.

An adverb of frequency is exactly what it sounds like – an adverb of time. Adverbs

of frequency always describe how often something occurs, either in definite or
indefinite terms. An adverb that describes definite frequency is one such as
weekly, daily, or yearly. An adverb describing indefinite frequency doesn’t specify
an exact time frame; examples are sometimes, often, and rarely.

The Position of the Adverb in a Sentence

An adverb of frequency goes before a main verb (except with To Be).

Subject + adverb + main verb

I always remember to do my
homework.
He normally gets good marks in
exams.

An adverb of frequency goes after the verb To Be.

Subject + to be + adverb

They are never pleased to see
me.
She isn't usually bad tempered.

When we use an auxiliary verb (have, will, must, might, could, would, can, etc.), the
adverb is placed between the auxiliary and the main verb. This is also true for to
be.

Subject + auxiliary + adverb + main verb

She can sometimes beat me in a race.
I would hardly ever be unkind to someone.
They might never see each other again.
They could occasionally be heard
laughing.

We can also use the following adverbs at the start of a sentence:

Usually, normally, often, frequently, sometimes, occasionally

 Occasionally, I like to eat Thai food.

BUT we cannot use the following at the beginning of a sentence:

Always, seldom, rarely, hardly, ever, never.

We use hardly ever and never with positive, not negative verbs:

 She hardly ever comes to my parties.

 They never say 'thank you'.

We use ever in questions and negative statements:

 Have you ever been to New Zealand?
 I haven't ever been to Switzerland. (The same as 'I have never been
Switzerland').

Importance of English in me panay in the career of Nursing

During the last few years, Panama has grown significantly in various areas, such
as construction and tourism, together with the investments of national and
international companies.  This, without a doubt, has allowed the nation's growth
and growth. The English courses in Panama are being very sought after for that
reason.

Consequently, we have increased the demand for jobs, but also the levels of
demand in hiring human talent, due to the competitiveness in the current market.
Here is the importance of being prepared to make sure we are excellent. It is also
very important since our career requires it and provide good care to the patient
whether foreigner or native of our country and work in a satisfactory manner.

What does the verb "to be" mean?

This is one of the main verbs in English.  The meaning in Spanish of the verb to be
is "to be" or "to be" in most cases, and the use of one or the other in this language
will depend on what one wants to communicate.  However, in other situations, such
as when speaking of age, the verb to be will have a meaning in Spanish different
from its use in English.

Where is the verb "to be" used?

Although the verb to be has mainly two particular meanings in Spanish, it has
some well-defined uses in English that do not always fit with these meanings.

The uses of the verb to be in English are the following: to talk about names, for
example how a person is called;  to express the age of someone or something (in
this case, it does not mean to be or to be); to talk about expressing someone's
nationality and to talk about a person's profession.

The most complex of the verb to be, however, is to use it with different types of
subjects, that is, when speaking in first, second or third person, when speaking in
the plural, or even when speaking in past or present.  Although the meaning and
use does not vary, the way in which it is written for each case is different.
Simple Past
simple past, is the verb tense used in the English language to narrate events that
occurred at a specific time in the past.  It corresponds in its meaning to the simple
past tense in Spanish.

Regular verbs to those who form the past by adding the suffix 'ed' or 'd' to the root
of the verb.
Example: Work is added is Worked

Irregular Verbs:
Irregular verbs, on the other hand, totally differ from their structure of Present Time,
because when you need to write or speak in the past tense you will have to
memorize it in that verb tense.  Therefore, in Irregular Verbs you must memorize
both the Present Tense as well as the Past Tense. Example:
Present time: I speak
Last time: I spoke

Some tips to speak English well

The "e" changes

If the "e" is at the end of the word and there is only one more vowel in it, then the
first one is pronounced and the "e" becomes silent, also lengthening the sound of
the vowel before it.

 Thrive (prosper)
 Bake (bake)
 Pine (pine)
 Breathe (breathe)

Do not add the vowel 'E' to the beginning of the word

One of our mania is to add the vowel 'E' to the beginning of those words that start
with a consonant (especially 'S').  Words like 'Spanish' or 'Speak' lend themselves
to this error.

Do not confuse 'B' and 'V'

The 'V' is pronounced correctly when the upper teeth touch the lower lip (like a
vocalized 'F').  On the contrary, the letter 'B' must be vocalized by joining both lips
(in a sound very similar to that of the 'B' Castilian or 'P' vocalized).

The great help of making prayers.

It was of great knowledge everything we saw up to that point since we
formed sentences describing our favorite person, how to pronounce the
language better and without a doubt he made many changes in my
pronouncement he developed much better speech thanks to the help of
everything practiced, talks  e dynamics performed in the classroom during
Course.

Frequency adverbs:
Adverbs of Frequency Rules
These simple rules for adverbs of frequency will help you to use them correctly:

Always use adverbs of frequency to discuss how often something happens.

Adverbs of frequency are often used to indicate routine or repeated activities, so
they are often used with the present simple tense.
If a sentence has only one verb, place the adverb of frequency in the middle of the
sentence so that it is positioned after the subject but before the verb. For example:
Tom never flies. He always takes the bus.
When a sentence contains more than one verb, place the adverb of frequency
before the main verb. For example: They have often visited Europe.
When using an adverb of frequency in the negative or in forming a question, place
it before the main verb. For example: Do you usually get up so late?

We take a vacation at least once annually.
I usually shop for groceries on Saturday mornings.
He is often late for work.
We seldom see John.
My dentist told me I should floss twice daily.

We made a presentation based on the frequency verbs, starting with what I did in
my week.
Thanks to this English course I was able to expand my knowledge that before I did
not train with them it is very helpful and extremely important to speak the language
of English for future growth of our country and as a future Nurse.

Why English is good?
the english is good because It is the language of international communication,
commerce and finance. English is a lingua franca in many corners of the planet
and the official language of many International Organizations such as the
European Union, United Nations or Unesco. This is due to historical and political
reasons, due to the importance of the British Empire in the past, when it spread its
language across all continents, and to its importance as the current power of the
United States. For all this we can say that it is the universal language, the one that
will help you to communicate without barriers.
Knowing English means being able to express oneself fluently and smoothly,
exposing our ideas with order and clarity before a native audience. Because it also
means understanding and assimilating the ideas and answers provided by other
people, radio, television, as well as the texts we read.
regular verbs and irregular verbs
I learned during the semester that verbs are very important and essential to
express ourselves, since they are the element in the sentence that tells us what is
happening and gives us the key to understand the rest of the text. Only with the
verb can we describe a complete message, deliver information or convey an idea.
Knowing the most used verbs in a language is key to being able to construct
sentences and express actions, desires and emotions.
during the semester I learned to pronounce variations of words that always got
complicated for example:
 teacher and sweater
 three and tree

Simple Past
What I understood from the past is simply that it is used to talk about an action that
ended in a time before the current one. The duration is not relevant. The time in
which the action is located may be the recent past or a distant past.
The "simple past" is always used to refer to when something happened, so it is
associated with certain temporary expressions that indicate:
 Frequency
 Time determined and indeterminate

Verb to be
The verb To be is very important in the English language. It corresponds to the
verbs in the Spanish language "to be" and "to be". It serves to express the age, to
express the sensations, to talk about the weather, etc. The verb "To be" is
accompanied by subject pronouns, serves to express various useful aspects such
as name, nationality, where it is, profession, how it feels and describe the
characteristics of someone or something and how to help others verbs, The verb
also has the form to conjugate it. Regular and irregular, affirmative, negative and
interrogative.
WH questions
for many people the questions are explained in English but I think that with interest
the objective can be achieved. Ask QUESTIONS in English It seems complicated
at first sight, but I feel that it is not so, we only have to understand the structure of
the interrogations. Likewise, we must KNOW the Interrogative Particles That
Receive the Name of " WH questions. " It is important to know how to conjugate
questions since it is from your daily life to ask how are you, as a theba, that you
have done.

Simple present

The simple present is a verb tense with two main uses. We use the simple present
tense when an action is happening right now, or when it happens regularly (or
unceasingly, which is why it’s sometimes called present indefinite). Depending on
the person, the simple present tense is formed by using the root form or by adding
s or es to the end.

Example:

I feel great! Pauline loves pie. I’m sorry to hear that you’re sick.

Person singular

First-person singular: I write

Second-person singular: You write

Third-person singular: He/she/it writes (note the s)

Regular and irregular verbs

An English verb can be regular or irregular. Regular verbs form their past and past
participle forms by adding –ed.

Examples are given below.

Walk – walked – walked

Dance – danced – danced

Paint – painted – painted

Work – worked – worked

Irregular verbs form their past and past participle forms in different ways.

There are mainly three types of irregular verbs.

Verbs in which all the three forms are the same (e.g. put – put – put)

Verbs in which two of the three forms are the same (e.g. sit – sat – sat)

Verbs in which all three forms are different (e.g. drink – drank – drunk)

Interrogative

An interrogative sentence asks a direct question and is punctuated at the end with
a question mark. It is one of the four basic types of sentences, and it's a highly
useful one. Could you imagine life without questions?

Interrogative sentences allow you to gather information and clear up confusion as

well as engage in interesting conversations with others. It's also useful in writing as
an organizational tool; for example, you can set up questions as headers and
answer them to explain a concept in more detail in expository writing.

Examples

1. who

2. whom

3. whose

4. what

5. when

6. where

7. why

8. which

9. how
