The repercussions of such a priority are visibile in this case:

Fir of all a price war started which is never a good situation in health services.

Then an ad war started in which companies spent upto 12 to 13 percent of their revenues which drained
them.

Both companies involved in price and ad war eventually went bankcrupt..

Lasik vision started treating high risk patients in order to gain high volume which hurt there beand image
and was very ridky health wise.
