Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle is one of the strangest phenomena on Earth that exists. Many

odd occurrences happen in the Bermuda Triangles and science may be able to explain them.

There have been more than 5- ships and airplanes that have mysteriously disappeared, there is

no exact number of the disappeared planes and ships related to the Bermuda Triangle so who

knows how many deaths there are. The Bermuda Triangle and the missing reports that are

involved with it. The Bermuda Triangle is strange because even Christopher Columbus and

Joshua Slocum experienced the strange phenomenon. The possible theories that explain the

Bermuda Triangle. The location of the Bermuda Triangle itself is strange. While many people

travel through the Bermuda Triangle without getting lost, the Bermuda Triangle is still one of the

strangest mysteries about the Earth because there have been missing reports of ships, planes,

and people, it gives inaccurate directions, and lost objects appear near it.

Multiple reports are showing how odd the Bermuda Triangle is. There was a ship that left

Maine to go sail to South America. The ship was called Carroll A. Deering and there were 11

crew members, the date was August 1920. They were heading back from South America to

Maine and on January 9, 1921, they decided to stop at Barbados. Twenty-two days passed by

and the ship was found floating near the coast of North Carolina. Nobody was found on the ship

and they never called for help. This shows the strange cases regarding the Bermuda Triangle.

On flight NC-16002, flying from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Miami, Captain Rober Lindquist was

aboard and it was on December 28, 1948. There were issues with the aircraft’s electricity and

battery. After being 50 miles away from Miami, Linquist asked for instructions and never

responded. Who knows what happened to him on that day and how strange that is. The U.S.S.

Cyclops sank with over 300 men and 10,000 tons of manganese on March 18, 1918. It was a

Navy Cargo ship that never signaled for help and the men were never found. How odd that the

men never signaled for help and their bodies have seemed to disappear. The Bermuda Triangle

is really mysterious and truly fascinating based on the reports.

Even the most experienced sailors are bound to get lost at the Bermuda Triangle.

Christopher Columbus has sailed through the Bermuda Triangle on his first voyage and reported

about the strange sightings of a great flame of fire and strange lighting after a few weeks of the

incident. He also noticed that the compass readings were false and gave incorrect directions.

Notice how a very experienced sailor gets lost and this incident in the Bermuda Triangle gave it

the name “Devil’s Triangle.” Joshua Slocum gained fame as the first person who sailed solo

around the globe. He sailed from Martha’s Vineyard to South America in 1909 and was never

heard of again. His death was later attributed to the Bermuda Triangle based on many sources.

The only place where these sailors had trouble is coincidentally in the Bermuda Triangle. An

18-gun cruizer class brig sloop called the U.S.S. Epervier with 132 seamen and 2 marines

disappeared and was last seen at the straights of Gibraltar on July 14, 1815. The cause of the

disappearance is most likely the reported hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean on August 9, 1815. It’s

strange how they pointed out the disappearance but never found the ship itself. All these

experienced sailors strangely got lost specifically in the Bermuda Triangle, how strange.

There may be theories to explain the Bermuda Triangle but not all mysteries are solved.

An Australian Scientist, Karl Kruszelnicki, says that all incidents of the missing planes and ships

are from “human error, bad weather, heavy air, and sea traffic.” He says that it was all

unfortunate circumstances and wasn’t supernatural. His claim does not seem reasonable

without any evidence. The U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard say that the disaster at sea isn’t

supernatural, so the Bermuda Triangle incidents are from the combined forces of nature and the

human’s actions themselves. They don’t acknowledge and do not have an official file on it.

Since the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard themselves say that the Bermuda Triangle isn’t

supernatural, how can they prove it? In October 2016, meteorologists discovered clouds that

were unusual and announced it. An Arizona State University scientist, Dr. Randy Cerveny said

that the cloud’s created unexpected violent storms from its huge hexagonal-shape that causes

air bombs and it was able to create powerful waves. The violent storms also could have been

able to bring down ships and planes. The ocean is one of the most dangerous places on Earth

so people should be cautious around it. The Bermuda Triangle is strange itself and the theories

show how odd the Bermuda Triangle already is.

The Bermuda Triangle is already dangerous by itself based on where its location is at.

The Bermuda Triangle is roughly located between the Southeastern Coast of the United States

of America, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. Nobody knows the exact boundaries and it is

considered an imaginary area by many official institutions. The Bermuda Triangle looks like a

regular ocean between the lands but how dangerous is it? The ends of the Bermuda Triangle

land on Miami, Florida, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. Compasses act strangely in the Bermuda

Triangle and would directly point towards the North Pole instead of the magnetic north which

points towards Canada. How interesting how compasses only point to the North Pole instead of

the magnetic north in the Bermuda Triangle. The disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle could

be explained by the environment because there are hurricanes and tropical storms in the

Atlantic Ocean that pass through the Bermuda Triangle. There can be rapid and even violent

changes in the weather from the Gulf Stream, and there can be shallow water that is harmful to

ships because of the large number of islands in the Caribbean Sea. The surroundings of the

Bermuda Triangle are already a hazard to ships compared to what happens on the water. The
Saelee 4

ocean itself is dangerous but it looks like the Bermuda Triangle is even more dangerous with the

location.

In conclusion, this goes to show how mysterious and dangerous the Bermuda Triangle

is. The Bermuda Triangle is mysterious and interesting, the same goes for the ocean. What’s

interesting are the unknown experiences of the people who unfortunately lost their lives, the

best advice for the Bermuda Triangle is to be cautious or be prepared. Who knows how many

ships and planes went missing in the Bermuda Triangle? How can people be sure that the

Bermuda Triangle is safe even if the most experienced sailors and pilots didn’t make it out?

There may be theories about the Bermuda Triangle, but can every theory reveal its truth? If the

Bermuda Triangle isn’t real, then is there a reason why compasses act strangely only in that

certain location? Even though the Bermuda Triangle is used regularly by people, it remains a

strange phenomenon by incidents from the past. This wraps up to the conclusion that strange

phenomenons happen in the Bermuda Triangle and how extraterrestrial it is.
