    There is a distributor who is engaged in procuring and selling two smart phone brands.

    There are three OS that


    are generally used in these phones. However the OS are at different levels. Also, the smart phones are
    producing from Asia and Europe area and it is a general feeling that the phones from Europe are better
    performers. The general problem is to identify the OS suitable. Use the associated data sheet in SPSS format
    and make out a report on the requirements.

    :
    1. Look at the variables and distinguish them as the study variable (Dependent) and causal variables.
    2. Make a description of these variables using appropriate classifications or frequency distributions. 
    3. Check the claims in the story; European phones are better equipped is a claim; relevant data is available;
    use appropriate classifications to either for or against the claim
    4. Consider the scores in general and in different classes with respect to ‘OS, ‘area of origin’ and ‘basic
    capability’.
    5. Conduct appropriate tests, with neatly written hypotheses and explanation of test results. See that the whole
    comes out as a single document.
