1.        Short summary of our Philippine Music History.

Filipinos are said to be musical peoples. Their singing is accompanied by

dancing. They used Bamboo canes, Palm leaves and bark of trees to write

their songs and a piece of sharp stick or iron for their pen. Even their

instruments were made of Bamboo and wood which indicated their

primitiveness. The functions of their music are religious and social life. Early

Filipinos music was influenced by trade relations other races like:  Malays,

Indonesians, Arabs, Chinese, Indo-Chinese, Japanese, and Hindus.

2.        Why Nature is not an art?

Art isn't nature because, in many ways, art isn't “natural”, it is an artificial

build made by man. If craftsmanship is nature at that point everything is

nature. So it kind of makes the word nature redundant. If nature is life and

after that people are lively and make art at that point art is nature.

Thus, art can open our eyes to the intricacy and beauty of the natural

world. It can simply be a pretty picture that appreciates nature for what it is or

it can be a challenging piece expressing our complex human connection to

nature. Art can help renew, or spark anew, our connection with nature.
