REFLECTION PAPER
I think the fight of Rizal is still unfinished for there still places of those
things he want to get rid of, and it is straging especially to the youth.
Accepting and realizing is one of the things that we must have because this
is a way of giving thanks to the people who give their lives for the
independence of our country.
This law(R.A No. 1425) enected in 1956, that seeks to accomplish those
goals as a student, which is to rededicate the lives of youth to the ideas of
freedom and nationalism for which our heroes lived and died; and to pay
tribute to our national hero for devoting his life and works in shaping the
filipino character. This Rizal Law has a mission to education to elevate the
country to the highest seat of glory and to develop the peoples mentality.
Since the education is the foundation of the society and a prerequisite for
social progress, and also our hero Dr. Rizal claimed that only through
education could the country be saved from domination, So we, the students
must study hard for our future and for the future of our country to be a
better country. This law also thought me that we need to put Rizal closer to
our hearts. Filipinos are capable of achieving great things in life, and like
our heroes we can excel in our own ways. He believed in education that is
free from political and religious control. This law can help us to enhance
our knowledge and we can use this Rizal Law in our future to build a better
life and to build the new version of our country which is more better than
before.
