1 Scope
This standard specifies the dimensions, tolerances and mass of LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighted pushbutton,
switch indicator, full sun readable or composite legends, plug-in type on base. Installation shall be in accordance
with AIPS07-05-077.

2 Normative references

3 Requirements

3.1 Configuration, dimensions, tolerances and mass

The configuration dimensions and tolerances shall be in accordance with figure 1.
Mass: 35 g max. momentary switch or double throw switch type.
30 g max. Simple indicator type.

Limit survival operating temperatures : -55 °C to +85 °C.
Limit operating temperature : -40 °C to +70 °C.

3.3 Electrical characteristics
3.3.1 Max. voltage drop under nominal current
V 200 mV (including connection).
3.3.2 A single switching operation
A single switching operation with a current exceeding the low level values will render the switch contacts unsuitable
for low level switching.
3.3.3 Insulation resistance
100 Munder 500 VDC.
3.3.4 Ground dielectric strength
1 000 V rms / 50 Hz for the body with head, with leakage current < 1 mA.
3.3.5 Switching capability

5 Marking
Markings on the body of LED lighted pushbutton switches must be indelible.

- Manufacturer's trade mark,

- Manufacturer's part number of lighted pushbutton switch,
- Airbus designation code of LED lighted pushbutton switch in accordance with § 4,
- Date (year, week) of LED lighted pushbutton switch manufacture and amendment code,
- Stamps of the supplier's different inspection departments,
- Pushbutton functional and connection diagram for each operational function type (indicator, momentary switch
or double throw switch).
