    TERMS & CONDITIONS:
    1. Tenders will be received in the office of undersigned on dates mentioned above up to 3.00 pm and Techno-
    commercial bid shall be opened on the same day at 3.30 pm in the presence of bidders or their
    representative, who choose to be present. Price bid of only those firms shall be opened who shall qualify the
    technical requirement as per NIT. The date of opening of price bid shall be decided separately and intimated
    to those bidders who shall qualify the technical requirement as per NIT.
    2. The Tender documents may be received from the office of undersigned on all working days between 10 AM to
    4 PM up to 03.03.11 on payment of Rs. 568.00. The payment may be made in the shape of Demand Draft
    from State Bank of India in favour of “NHPC Ltd., Tanakpur Power Station” payable at S.B.I. Banbassa (Code-
    8489). Tender cost is non-refundable.
    3. The complete bid document may also be downloaded from NHPC website www.nhpcindia.com on online
    payment of Rs. 568/-. The bidder shall submit the tender fee payment receipt with the offer in Envelope-I.
    4. The Tender received by post after the stipulated date and time shall not be considered. Corporation shall not
    be responsible for any postal/Courier delay.
    5. The EMD of Rs. 18000/- (Rs. Eighteen thousand Only) in shape of Demand Draft from SBI drawn in favour of
    “NHPC Ltd., Tanakpur Power Station” payable at SBI Banbassa (Code No. 8489) may be submitted in
    envelope-I. Tender not accompanied with requisite amount of EMD shall be rejected as being non-responsive.
    6. EMD submitted in any other / inappropriate form shall not be considered and in such case offer may
    be rejected.
    7. The corporation reserves the right of rejecting all or any of the tenders and is not bound to accept lowest or
    any other tender or to give any reason for such decision.
    8. Tender document are not transferable.

    Dear Sir,
    Sealed Tenders are invited on behalf of NHPC Ltd. Tanakpur Power Station, Banbassa for Supply of ‘Geo
    Bags & Poly-Propylene Fishnet Gabion’ by registered post as per the attached Technical specifications with
    terms and conditions given below:-

    Sealed quotations shall be submitted in Two envelope system:-

    (a) Envelope (I) – Superscribed as Techno-commercial Bid shall contain the following:
    1. Online payment receipt for downloading tender document from NHPC Website.
    2. The EMD of Rs. 18000/- (Rs. Eighteen thousand Only) in shape of Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of
    India in favor of “NHPC Ltd., Tanakpur Power Station” payable at SBI Banbassa (Code No. 8489).
    3. General terms & conditions in the NIT Format. The firm shall indicate acceptance/deviation to all terms &
    conditions by filling in against all items of the format.
    4. Copies of supply order executed to other govt. dept. /PSU if any.
    5. Technical Specifications of the item offered.
    6. Copy of Sales tax registration certificate.

    (b) Envelope (II) -Price Bid in Price schedule format on bidder’s printed letter head. Envelope should be marked
    as ‘PRICE BID’.
    Price bid of those bidders shall be opened who shall qualify the technical bid. Accordingly, the date of opening of
    price bid shall be intimated to the bidder over telephone/e-mail.

    Both the envelopes should be put together in a bigger envelope indicating enquiry no., due date of opening on the top
    of cover & name of the bidder at left side of the envelope Tenders may also be submitted in designated tender box in
    office of undersigned.
