Sir Don Bradman was a famous

Australian Cricket, the greatest


batsman in the history of Cricket.

He was born on 27th August 1908 in New South Wales, Australia.

He died on 25th February 2001 at the age of 92.

He was right hand batsman.

He was also the captain of Australian cricket team.

He played 52 test matches and scored nearly 7000 runs.

He made 29 centuries and 13 fifties in his test career.

His highest score in a test match was 334 runs.

On 1st January1949 Don Bradman was awarded a title of “Sir” by English


Royal family in recognition of his services to cricket.

He wrote several books on cricket including “The Art of Cricket”.
