PHASE 1

• Two (2) 6-MW Turbines, 600 feet tall

• 27 Miles off the coast of Virginia Beach

• The second offshore wind project in US

• The first in federal waters, 80 feet ocean depth

• The first owned by an electric utility

• First announced in 2017

• Received State approval in Nov 2018

• Onshore construction started in summer 2019

• First turbine foundation installed in May 2020

• Acceptance testing completed in October 2020

• Bring enough power for 3,000 Virginia homes
