The thing that puzzles me in this photograph is that why are these three cats standing in a line. My question is that what is the painting

The name of the artist is Maud Lewis. She was a Canadian folk artist from Nova Scotia. Lewis lived most of her
life in poverty in a small house in Marshalltown, Nova Scotia, achieving national recognition in 1964 and 1965.
Several books, plays and films have since been produced about her.

The element I noticed was the pattern of this artwork that is the flowers at the back of the cats. The focal
point is on the cats. This painting was emphasized by using oil on maisonette.
