 UNDERCARRIAGE

Solutions for your needs!

Depending on the customer’s needs, the MultiDocker CH600 can be
delivered in two standard undercarriage configurations with crawler
tracks. Other options are the rail track fitted gantry undercarriage or
pedestal. It’s also possible to have the cargo handler installed onboard
a vessel or a barge.

Due to the unique module system we can tailor the height and width
of the undercarriage raiser, the length of the track frames and the width of
the flat shoes to meet special requirements in regards of weight, ground
loadings, available space at the site etc.

The MultiDocker cargo handler comes with grease lubricated tracks as
standard. The track links are assembled and sealed with grease to decrease
internal bushing wear, reduce travel noise and extend service life thus lowering
operating costs.

TRACK SHOES
The flat shoe’s outer edges are curved and chamfered on the outer edges to further
smooth transportation as well as prevent unnecessary damages to the ground.

Through Super Premium
Efficiency Motors
The Super Premium Efficiency (IE4) level established in IEC
60034-30-1: 2014 is considered the highest efficiencyclass which
a squirrel cage induction motor can achieve whilst remaining eco-
nomically viable. It is also the optimum solution to increase the
efficiency of an existing application through direct replacement.
So, why have Super Premium Efficiency motors not become the
Industry standard? It may be argued that super premium efficien-
cy motors are also super premium in price when comparing aga-
inst standard efficiency (IE1), high efficiency (IE2) and premium
efficiency (IE3) motors.

Whilst this is not strictly untrue, it should be appreciated when considering their lifetime that the cost of acquisition of an
induction motor typically represents only 2% of the total cost of ownership. In contrast, the associated energy savings
provided by Super Premium and Premium efficiency motors far outweigh this additional investment in purchase price.
The reduction in CO2 emissions is one of the direct consequences, and therefore benefits, of increasing efficiency in
industry. Using IE4 rated motors today will show that a company is serious about saving energy, carbon reduction and
saving money.

Overload Protection System

The machines lifting capacity values have been calculated in compliance with SS-EN 130 01.
The capacities do not exceed 87% of the Hydraulic capability and 75% of the tipping load with the machine on a firm and
level ground. In the case of an overload situation the protection system will not allow the dipper arm stick to move outwards
therefore preventing an overload in the boom cylinders and uncontrolled lowering of the arm.

Cabin Safety System

The machine is equipped with an electronic safety system with motion control. The system can as an option prevent from
collision between the cabin and the work tool. The system also controls the load in the machine to avoid overload
