The meaning of life is to carry on with life. We are just some vehicles that help that happen.
While we're at it we might as well make it a pleasant time for as many of us as we can.

I think people survive beyond death in the remembrances of their actions on the lives of
others. In that case it is good to be remembered in ways that you see honorable when you
remembrance of others. You might be remembered in your attitude and actions in life rather
than name. That is not what I think people think of when they think of heaven.
