    IIT-HOME is adopting a novel approach in the lockdown, substituting its admission

    screening examination (ASE) with a one month online preparatory program to


    evaluate students for aptitude, discipline and sincerity. A guided self learning
    program to brush up the basics of maths and science before students decide for
    engineering and foray on to advanced preparation.

    Important Announcements regarding Admission
    Screening Examination (ASE) 2022

    Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the resulting nationwide lockdown
    AdmissionScreening Examination (ASE) 2022 shall not be conducted. Instead
    IIT-HOME will be hosting an online preparatory program to train students.

    ONLINE PREPARATORY PROGRAM: OBJECTIVE

    The preparatory program aims at revising and consolidating the basics of students as
    per their high school syllabus and preparing them for advanced studies through guided
    self learning.

    ONLINE PREPARATORY PROGRAM: CONTENTS

    The program would consist of online video lectures, practice assignments and online
    tests. Personal interactions with faculties would be conducted for few students. Student
    swill be required to participate in these activities from home over an internet connection
    using mobile phone/tablet/laptop or desktop computer as per availability.

    ORIENTATION WEBINAR

    An orientation webinar would be conducted by IIT-HOME for all ASE registered


    students on Sunday, ​26th April​ 5-6 pm, with a repeat telecast on ​29th April​ 5-6 pm for
    those who missed. The seminar would give following details about the preparatory
    program and admissions to IIT-HOME.

    IIT-HOME is the best choice for them
    ● Aims and objective of preparatory program
    ● Orientation of students towards engineering and engineering entrance
    ● Dos, Don’ts, Whys and Hows of the online program

    ONLINE PREPARATORY PROGRAM: FEES

    The online preparatory program is free of cost for all students who have registered for
    ASE 2022. The program is a substitute to the conventional selection procedure of
    IIT-HOME, while giving students an opportunity to try if engineering is the right career
    choice for them.

    SELECTION & ADMISSION FOR TWO YEAR PROGRAM

    Students would be selected for JEE Advanced or JEE Main 2022 preparation as per
    their performance during the preparatory program evaluated on the basis of their
    aptitude, regularity, sincerity and discipline. ​Students maintaining 100% regularity
    and sincerity during the two months would get assured admission to IIT-HOME​ for
    the two year program.

    ASE 2022 REGISTRATION

    For interested students, who have not yet registered for ASE 2022, online registrations
    for ASE would be opened on the IIT-HOME website from 16 April to 30 April 2020.
    Registration charges ₹500 applicable.
