ACTIVITY 8 – 2: Making Sense of Curriculum Implementation
1. Before the pandemic time. Identify one class you happened to attend with, where
the teacher is actually teaching.

Before the pandemic time, the one class that I was attended with is my
class on Home Economics which our instruction is Mrs. Rante wherein
she actually teaching about the different cuisines.

2. Describe what teacher is doing for at least the whole period.

Apparently, there were students who are assigned in particular topic to


report it. So Mrs. Rante was just sitting at the side listening and
commenting to the reporters.

3. Write down your observation based on the following questions:


3.1 What were the different learner’s activities?

About the different activities, there were nothing too much activities
was happened because only recitation took place that day.

3.2 What did the teacher do, to make the learners engage in the activities?

Then, she devised a way to engage all learners in that activity by


giving them a chance to participate in recitation.

3.3 Were majority the students actively participating? Why?

All of the learners was actively participating, why I say so it is


simply because all of them was participating in recitation, there
raising their hands just to answer the questions of their teacher.

3.4 Did the teacher control most of the activities?

YES

3.5 Did the learners and the teacher together achieve the desired learning
outcomes? Explain?
YES, the learners and the teacher was achieved properly the
desired learning outcomes. Because the teacher was prepared an
effective instructional materials, an effective strategies just to
maintain and make the discussion smooth and also in order the
learner can easily cope up in the class.

1. As a future teacher, what would be your response to curriculum implementation
as part of curriculum change? Are you willing to take implementation? Why? Why
not?
As a future teacher, there is nothing I can say about it, because the
curriculum was actually good and its suits to all implementer especially to
all learners who will be the one to benefited to this curriculum change.
YES, I’m definitely willing to take implementation because I want to get
more experiences in order to expand my knowledge and also to enhance
my skills.
2. As a future curriculum implementer in your own field of specialization, identify five
school activities you think that will develop your curriculum. What are the
mechanics to undertake to improve your existing curriculum? Below is template
of an action plan, prepare a one year curriculum activities. All your queries send
