Mobile Home Pole System

A. ATTACHMENT: The customer must provide point
of attachment at the top of the pole. Either an
eyebolt or a J-hook is acceptable and must be
within the top 6 inches of the pole (16 feet above
ground).
B. WEATHERHEAD: The weather head must be
within the top 2 feet of the pole and have at least

F. GROUND CLAMP: The ground clamp used should
be a teardrop, single bolt style and NOT the 2-bolt
water pipe style clamp.
G. GROUND ROD: The ground rod should be 8 feet
in length and at least 5/8 inch round. The entire rod

GROUND LINE CLEARANCE: The pole must be able to provide the
following clearances:
• Roads 18’
• Driveways 16’
• Open Ground 16’
4' POLE:
• MINIMUM of 20 feet overall length
• MINIMUM 4 feet in the ground
• MINIMUM 6” x 6” square treated pole, or
8' 6” round pole.
