COURSE OUTLINE- BS Class 7th semester

This course will provide a conceptual and applied understanding of all the key aspects of human
resources Consultancy functions, including Consultancy frame work & pre requisites, and
provision of value added customized consultancy services in all areas of Human resource
management. At the completion of this class, students should be able to comprehend, design and
implement HR Consultancy Services catering for the contemporary market/industry needs ,
compatible with the changing scenario. The course 100 marks will be distributed as:-

MEASURABLE LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Evaluate the purpose and effectiveness of HR Services and Measurements of HR bench marks

• Explain the challenges of various HR functions in Industry, MNC and public Sector.

• understand HR Consultancy Structure Pakistan and Internationally and will be able to prepare
and present consultancy plans.

• Describe the interaction of various employment policies and practices

• To evaluate the HR Policies and processes in different companies.

Course Requirements and Assignments:

• Complete Course is based on Presentations, Activity and Research. Any HRM course book can
be consulted by the students.

• During this course we will share National and International Companies Documents, Market

Surveys and various processes.

• Students will develop advertisements, application forms, JD, Test, letters, Assessment Centre

and Competency Interview.

• Individual Based Assignments, Group Projects will also be given.
