About AGNI

Inspired by his grandfather, Naresh Shoor established 'Surya Golds' over two decades ago in
Jalandhar, a city in the northern Indian state of Punjab. As the business grew gradually,
expanding to new horizons was the need of the times. It was then that Ramesh Shoor and Dinesh
Shoor commenced operations in Mumbai under the able supervision of Naresh Shoor and their
elder brother Sudesh shoor. “Agni Jewels” was born.Since then, "Agni Jewels" has come a long
way in achieving its status of being one of the most trusted names in this glittering business of
jewellery manufacturing.

To create and establish a jewellery brand, which offers pieces of art that you cherish for a
lifetime, was indeed a gigantic task. We owe our success to the highly motivated and talented
team at Agni Jewels. Our recruitment division picks the crème-de-la-crème from premier
universities and design houses in India. We put them through meticulous training programs to
polish their skills in their respective fields and impart comprehensive industry knowledge.

The brand story

As a jewellery brand established on 14th Jan 2004, Agni has created a distinctive identity for
itself. The brand is proud to have set a number of benchmarks in the industry.

Agni introduced the entirely suave concept of CZ Gold jewellery, a total new idea in this trade.
These pieces of art for the first time came with a MRP safeguarding benefit of customers all
across the country. The entire range is Hallmark stamped. In the second anniversary celebrations
Agni introduced “Agni Anmol Privilege Card Loyalty Program” for Jewellers.

THE 5TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF AGNI CZ GOLD JEWELS WAS HELD IN GLITTERING FUNCTION IN
RENAISSANCE HOTEL, POWAI, MUMBAI ON 14TH JANUARY 2009. THIS IS THE OCCASION WHEN THE AGNI'S
DISTRIBUTION PARTNERS FROM ALL OVER INDIA ARE FELICITATED. AGNI DISTRIBUTORS STRENGTH HAS DOUBLED
FROM PREVIOUS YEAR TO 112 AND THE GROWTH IN RETAIL JEWELLERY OUTLETS HAS BEEN PHENOMENAL. APART

FROM THIS, AGNI HAS LAUNCHED ITS PRODUCTS IN THE STATES OF BIHAR, JHARKHAND, ORRISA, WEST BENGAL AND

SEVEN SISTERS IN NORTH EAST.


THE FUNCTION ATTENDED BYAGNI'S SALES PERSONNELS AS WELL AS DISTRIBUTORS FROM ALL OVER INDIA AND
OVER 350 JEWELLERY RETAILERS FROM MUMBAI WITH THEIR FAMILIES EXPERIENCED AN EVENING OF GLITTER AND
GLORY. THE EVENT STARTED WITH A TRADITIONAL WAY OF LIGHTING OF DIYA BY DIRECTOR MR.KOMAL SAIN

SHOOR, THE PATRIARCH OF THE SHOOR FAMILY. IN HIS WELCOME SPEECH, MR. RAMESH SHOOR, DIRECTOR SALES
& MARKETING CONGRATULATED THE AGNI FAMILY FOR ITS PREVIOUS YEAR'S ACHIEVEMENT AND SHARED SOME
INSIGHTS AND HIGHLIGHTS OF AGNI'S PERFORMANCE AND GROWTH LAST YEAR. THE LAUNCH OF NEW CREATIONS LIKE

AGNI POPULAR, AGNI UPAHAAR, AGNI VIVAH WERE ANNOUNCED. MR.DINESH SHOOR, DIRECTOR, ALSO SHARED
HIS THOUGHTS ON THE LAST YEAR'S PERFORMANCE AND INFORMED ABOUT NEW INITIATIVES TO BE TAKEN THIS YEAR.

DURING THIS EVENT, THE DISTRIBUTORS FROM ALL OVER INDIA WERE FELICITATED BY GIVING MOMENTOS AND THE

ACHIEVERS IN HIGHEST SALES WERE ALSO AWARDED. SIMILARLY THE BEST SALES PERSONNELS WERE AWARDED FOR
THEIR STARTLING PERFORMANCE IN THE LAST YEAR. A LAVISH BUFFET DINNER FOLLOWED THE FELICITATION CEREMONY

Agni introduced the entirely suave concept of CZ Gold jewellery, a total new idea in this trade.
CZ gold jewellerly from Agni uses best of cubic Zirconia available in the world. Cubic Zirconia
is the finest diamond equivalent because it comes closer than any other gem material to matching
the characteristics of a diamond and is available in every color one can think of.

Agni has used these amazing and unparalleled qualities of CZ in fusion with 18 k white and
yellow gold, in turn creating a breathtaking range of jewellery comprising of necklaces, rings,
earrings and pendants. Every month new products are introduced. Agni unveils season’s new
collection in every three months.

Off-the-cuff

In 2005 March branded jewelry attracted excise tax causing quite a commotion in the industry.
As a business house that encourages a dynamic culture of enterprise, Agni Jewels organized a
special seminar to educate retailers about the new excise rules and regulations for the trade. Agni
was successful in bringing the senior officers of excise department, who solved the retailers’
queries and cleared their doubts. Agni also encourages a community spirit, a common forum in
the form of an eClub, where one can express his views, share his dissatisfaction, and/or ask for
opinions. All one needs is a login name & password combination to access the rest of club
members.
