Overview: Cape Town
 Cape Town is a port city on South Africa’s southwest coast

 It ranks third among the most populous urban areas in South Africa,
after Johannesburg

 The city is famous for its harbour, for its natural setting in the Cape
Floristic Region, as well as for such well-known landmarks as Table
Mountain and Cape Point.

 The temperature at Cape town in June varies between 13 degrees to 23


degrees

 The best time for a hiking holiday in Cape Town is from late April to early
June when the days are crisp and clear, great hiking weather.

• Rainfall peaks around June and July but
the Cape's weather is notoriously
changeable; locals say that you can have
'four seasons in one day'.

• Despite this, the Cape is still pleasant to


visit, just as long as you aren't expecting to
sunbathe all day.

• During the winter months, cape town is


still very nice to travel as long as you don't
mind getting wet.

• Sporadic showers and chilly winds are


common during this season, but with
daytime temps averaging in the low 60s,
winter can still be a pleasant time to visit.

Suggested Itinerary
Day1:
- Arrival at the Airport & Transfer to the hotel
- En- route, lunch Restaurant or similar (Depending on flight arrival
times)
- Check in to the hotel
- Group arriving in the morning will proceed for a Cape Town City
Tour in the Afternoon. . Highlights include: See the Houses of
Parliament and the “Tuinhuis” (President’s office), Company
Gardens, ‘St. George’s’ Cathedral and the Malay Quarter. Visit to Table
Mountain with Cable Car Ride & later Free time off at Victoria and
Alfred Waterfront.
- Dinner at Restaurant.
- After dinner return back to the hotel

Table Land
 Table Mountain is much more than just a 1086m-high, flat-topped sandstone outcrop that
overlooks Cape Town. As the one of the seven New Wonders of the World, it is also the
playground of thousands of hikers, bikers and paragliders who make the most of its varied
terrain, incredible natural beauty and the face that it lies within an easy 10-minute drive of the
city centre. Table Mountain also boasts numerous rare and endangered species.

Day 2: Half day Mother City tour
 Breakfast at the hotel.
 Depart on the Full day Cape Point Tour. Join us on Africa's premier tour route to
the romantic meeting place of the Indian & Atlantic Oceans. Sir Francis Drake the
explorer called it "the fairest Cape that we saw in the circumference of the Globe"
This tour offers a full and exciting day out.
 Includes: Hout Bay, 30-minute cruise to the seal colony in a glass bottom boat
(weather permitting), Cape Point nature reserve, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope
including Funicular Ride stop for lunch at local restaurant during tour-
swimming in Indian Ocean possible & penguin colony in Simonstown.
 Return to the hotel later that evening
 Gala Dinner at Hotel

Cape point and Cape of Good Hope

 Cape Point is the small cape jutting out towards the east
from The Cape of Good Hope at the southern end of the
Peninsula.

 The Cape of Good Hope is a peninsula just outside the city


of Cape Town in South Africa.

 Cape peninsula, including the Cape of Good Hope, is part


of Table Mountain National Park.

Day 3: Full day Cape Point Tour
 Breakfast at the hotel.
 Visit the Castle of Good Hope. The Castle of Good Hope is the oldest surviving building in South Africa.
 Lunch will be enjoyed at local Indian restaurants.
 Thereafter, guests will visit Canal Walk Shopping Centre to indulge in shopping.
 Evening Make it in time for your beautiful Sun Set Cruise (* The group will need to split over to more than
one vessel due to the group size) Cost includes a suggested drinks allowance of 1x beer, 1x soft drink and
1x mineral water per person, except where indicated each platter contains a selection of 4 snacks, 15 of
each type making a total of 60 items per platter.
 Return to the hotel
 Dinner at Indian Restaurant
 Overnight at Hotel

Day 4:
 Breakfast at hotel.
Guests will transfer to the Winelands and experience the Cape Wines (Visit to
approximately 2 wine estates) * Group will need to be split into smaller groups in
order to be accommodated at the Winelands.
 Lunch will be enjoyed at the Winelands.
 Return to the hotel.
 Dinner at Indian Restaurant
 Overnight at Hotel

Day 5:
 Breakfast at hotel.
 Checkout and transfer to Cape Town International Airport for onward flight for morning passengers.
 Group Departing in the evening which missed the city tour on Day 1 will proceed for in the morning
will proceed for a Cape Town City Tour & Table Mountain
 Thereafter, guests will proceed to airport for their flight home.
