    Standby unit LA5-6V/12V/24V

    General
    The charging is divided into three steps. During the
    first step the accumulator is charged with a very small
    current to prevent damage to a discharged accumulator.
    When the voltage has reached the lower limit for normal
    charging the accumulator will be charged with maximum
    current, this is the second phase. In the third step the
    charge will decrease and the standby unit will keep the
    accumulator charged with a maintenance charge.
    During the first phase the accumulator cannot be
    loaded.
