LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP
The Cunning Fox
In the Deep wild forest there was a fox very cunning and mischievous. The fox always used to
cause trouble to the fellow wild animals and used to make fun of them by pranking everyone.
Everyone in the forest knew that the fox was always looking for someone fool aur trick,
fox was anathema to other animals.
It was the nature of the fox that he would enjoy sorrow and pain of other animals after causing
them trouble.
On a fine bright day the fox was bored and wanted to to prank someone for fun.
Sitting down and planning how he can make fun of other animals. The fox went to the nearby
well to drink water he found out that the well is shallow.
Then an idea struck him that he could fool someone and trick them in to jumping in the well.
The fox knew that sheep pass by the well to drink water from the river.
Fox planned that he would jump into the well and trick the ship to jump in the well and he would
jump out as soon as the sheep is stuck inside.
The fox was waiting for the sheep to come near by the well soon as he saw the sheep coming he
jumped inside and started to make noise the sheep hard the fox and looked inside the well out of
curiosity sheep asked fox what are you doing inside the well the fox answered the water is very
sweet come down here and enjoy with me the sheep without having any second thoughts or
thinking followed what the fox said and jumped into to the well the fox then quickly jump and
came out.
The sheep was very foolish realised that he cannot jump out. He cried for help but the fox stood
there laughing and making fun of sheep.
The sheep realised her folly and constantly requested the fox to help, but the fox said “why did
you jump into the well if you could not come out”? Now go on crying.
The fox said your master will come to get you meanwhile you may enjoy the sweet water of the
well. Goodbye! the fox ran into the Woods and left the sheep in trouble.
The moral of the story is you should always look before you take a leap.
This means think carefully about the possible outcome before making important decisions.
Before getting into an action, you should always consider the possible consequences or and
result of the action.
Decision made in haste often turn up to be costly decisions.
Exercising diligence and care by doing something so that you do not repent in the future like the
sheep did.
You should act only once you have made careful evaluation the possible risk or danger
associated with here the ship did not give any second thoughts and fail to evaluate the danger.
