I, Tutankhamun was born in Amarna in 1342 BC and I am now ruling in the 18th
dynasty, I am the son of Akhenaten and Queen Nefertiti. After my father’s
death, I became King at the age of nine because my mother mysteriously
disappeared.I was still a young boy so Ay, my grandfather made most of the
decisions. I am married to my beautiful half-sister and cousin, Ankhesenamun.
My father made everyone in Egypt made everyone focus upon one god, the sun
god Aten, this changed Egypt’s traditions and religious practices so I began to
return Ancient Egypt’s religious traditions.I changed this rule because no one
liked only praying for one god so I decided to change Egypt’s religion to how it
was before my father ruled.
People say I was the one who led Ancient Egypt into war but that is not true I am
not the ‘battle-hardened warrior’ who made Egyptians die.I am not a bad person
that lets innocent people die for no real reason.People in Egypt still believe from
this day I led Ancient Egypt into war.
I did not build anything yet because I believe I am to young to build things. I hope
people will remember me and build a temple or pyramid for me because of my
amazing talents and power.
I believe I am best known for changing Egypt’s beliefs, not many people liked my
father’s idea of focusing upon one god, the sun god Aten. So when I changed our
beliefs people became happy we weren’t focusing and praying only one god.
Even though I am very young and Ay had to make most of my decisions, I
believe I am a powerful king who is easily recognisable, I am also a Pharaoh
which means I am recognised very easily.I think I am also known because of my
mysterious family and there very dramatic disappearances.
This was the recount I wrote about my very interesting and mysterious life.
I hope you agree with my opinions and you understand why I did some things
people thought was bad. Whoever is reading this should be glad I wrote about
this and may be able to use in the future.
