    Military Perspective of Strategy

    In business, they need to thrive in order to survive just like they are engaged
    in war. Store lots of weapons and ammunition before dealing and diving in the
    battlefield. As what they said, if you dive in war without enough weapons and
    ammunition you might losing it. In business the weapons and ammunition are the
    strategies. When building business, they need enough but it should not be enough
    strategy so that they can survive the battlefields inside and out of the business.
    Businessman, executives, management needed to be trained well to win the
    uncertainties that might happen. Knows how to eliminate, control and reduce risks.
    Example a wise businessman knows who to attack his enemy which are the risks,
    competency in a right way that will become beneficial to his organization. Like todays
    pandemic, many businesses losses their business because their sales are not going
    well affected by the pandemic. But somehow, other business and establishments still
    operating their business to survive this uncertainty because they have a wise and
    good strategic management. Innovating their products so that the customers will still
    enjoy and satisfy the goods.
    The art of war and the book of five rings talks about military strategies on how
    to get the success in the battlegrounds base of their experiences and those
    strategies, it might apply in their daily work as their guide. In doing business it
    requires planning, a careful preparation that have been done. A wisely, thoroughly
    and precisely, carefully planning because planning is the first step a key in
    implementing strategy. Planning is the basis of the entire input strategy that will take
    effect to the aim output which is the success. They should know competently to their
    both external and internal environment. Knowledge of their environment allowing
    them to compete and take the right strategy. Accuracy of measurement to their
    resources is important towards achieving organizational goals. The strategic
    management should possess the qualities that manifest expertise, leadership,
    management skill, strong characters, good values and ethical standard that has an
    unpredictable strategy so that no one will take advantage. They must know how to
    attack their competitor and attract more to their customers.
    Winning the war is not only preparing the leaders but also valuing the troops,
    equipment. Surviving the war in business industry, company and management
    should learn how to value their expertise, employees, and technologies. A wise
    leader knows how to control himself in every situation. Knows how to handle his
    employees, uncertainties. Has a fighting spirit that knows how stand up when he is
    stumble. If you stumble hundred times stand a million times. Do not stuck in
    insignificance, do not let the confusion will drive.
    Strategy is not easy to plan, create and implement. The output we want might
    not be like as we expected because as a human, we cannot predict the
    uncertainties. However, strategy will help us to overcome those. Strategies will be
    our key to achieve goals that we are aiming. The achievement is our prize towards
    our sacrifices and patience.
