1. I study at New Era International school. It is my first year here. One of the main reasons I
chose to study here was because NEIS uses the Cambridge system, thus it is free
education since it is a public school. The school itself is beautiful and spacious, and every
classroom looks different, they all have their own unique personalities. I think that may
be because each class is responsible for a classroom, and everyone wants to make their
classroom the best looking one. I also like how everyone here is open to talk about
anything, it feels like everyone is independent. The saying “School is your second home”
never felt more suiting to any school I have been to.
2. Since I am still pretty new here, I haven’t been able to find a lot of downs. But the first
“Oh no” moment was when I realized that the teachers were teaching in Mongolian. I
didn’t expect every class to be in Mongolian, even the English classes were in
Mongolian. That made it a bit harder to understand what was going on, but I got used to
it over time. Other than that, everything is going nearly perfect.
3. I always tried to limit myself on how much time I spent on my phone, but to be realistic,
together with the fact we have online lessons all day long it is hard to use any
technology. I believe that if I get the hang of time management I can do better at
studying, as I will be in control of my time. Sometimes I feel like I am not enough for
doing something, or just feel like I let people down. That affects me really badly because
it makes me think about a lot of unnecessary things. That’s why I have been working on
to get more confident, to be healthier mentally.
