About IIFT: Eligibility For Foreign Nationals and NRI
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is one of the top-ranked B-school in India. It is ranked among
top 30 management institutes in MHRD-NIRF Ranking 2020. IIFT conducts national level entrance
exam for its MBA program. The IIFT exam is conducted by National Testing Agency. It is organized for
the aspirants seeking admission in 2 year full time MBA in International Business (IB) course offered
by IIFT for all the three campuses: Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada. IIFT for 2021-23 batch is expected to
be held on will be in December, 2020 in computer-based or online mode across various exam
centres in India.
IIFT MBA - IB 2021 admission test this year is delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic. NTA is probably
going to release the IIFT entrance exam schedule in the last week of October. Generally IIFT MBA
entrance exam is led on first Sunday of December. Since the IIFT 2021 registration process has not
started yet, it is expected that the exam would be conducted in the month of December 2020.
IIFT 2021: Important Dates

Step 1 - IIFT Registration 2021
For the IIFT online application procedure, candidates need to register themselves on the NTA-IIFT
https://iift.nta.nic.in/
Follow the steps to register for IIFT 2021:
Click on "Fill Online Application Form" for new registration
Fill in the details asked in the application form
Enter password and choose a security question
Note down the system generated application number
Step 2 – Login and fill application form
Use the application number to login and complete the IIFT registration process
Candidates shall be informed through an email about their registration
Step 3 - Upload Photo/Signature/Certificates
1. The photo should be recent and in colour or black/white
2. The size of the photo should be between 10 kb - 200 kb and it should be in JPG/JPEG format
3. The size of scanned signature should be between 4 kb - 30 kb and it should be in JPG/JPEG
format.
4. The category certificate (if applicable) should be uploaded in size between 50 kb to 300 kb.
Step 4 – Application fee
The candidates can pay the fees through various modes: credit card/debit card (VISA/Mastercard),
net banking or mobile wallets (Paytm/UPI).

Note: No IIFT Application Offline has to filled this time.
IIFT cut-off is the minimum score required to be eligible for further rounds like Essay Writing, Group
Discussion and Personal Interview round of IIFT admissions. Shortlisting of candidates for further
round of IIFT admission is based on the sectional cut offs. Given below are expected section-wise IIFT
cut offs, campus-wise cut offs, previous year's cut offs.

Data Interpretation
This section was comparatively easy. An attempt of 4-5 questions would be considered very well.

Verbal Ability
It was quite a tough session. Some of the questions looked more like General Knowledge-based
rather than English language-based. The questions based on para-jumble, fill in the blank, and
grammar were easy.
Quantitative Ability
Weightage given to Geometry and Modern Math was higher in this paper. An attempt of around 10
questions with about 85% accuracy would be considered decent.
Section 3: Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation: With few tricky questions in the Logical
Reasoning section and Calculative questions in Data Interpretation it was a difficult section.
5. Data Interpretation
Out of 18 questions from this section, the ones who attempted 4 questions are expected to score
good in the exam.
