    Preparation :

    1. Get Software GUL from HW Engineer: BTS3900 V100R009C00SPC231T

    Upgrade GRFU to MRFU Step :

    1. Setting laptop IP with the same segment with UMPT IP

    UMPT IP : 192.168.0.49

    Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0

    Sample :

    2. Open command prompt (cmd) and ping to 192.168.0.49 and the result must reply

    Example below IP 192.168.0.80 Subnet 255.255.255.0

    3. Open your SFTP Server, and icon green light at right bottom of your laptop appear as

    shown below:

    4. Open your Internet Explorer Browser, then open UMPT IP https://192.168.0.49/ to

    login

    Username : admin

    Password : hwbs@com

    User type : local

    Verification code : input as shown at the picture

    5. Right click sftpserver, choose FTP server configure

    6. Download BTS Software (BTS3900 V100R009C00SPC231T) using MML command

    (DLD Software)

    Run MML command LST SOFTWARE to make sure Software already available on

    7. Activate software, Copy all the software version BTS3900 V100R009C00SPC231T

    Operation type : NE(The Whole NE)

    Software Type : SOFTWARE(Software)

    Software version : BTS3900 V100R009C00SPC231T

    Application type list : Select All (GBTS, NodeB, EnodeB)

    8. Run MML command LST SOFTWARE:; or LST VER:; to make sure the Software

    activate successfully. UMPT will restart

    9. Supply Software (SPL SOFTWARE), UMPT will restart

    IP Mode : IPV4(IPv4)

    FTP server IP : 192.168.0.80 (Laptop IP)

    User name : admin --> same with sftpserver

    Password : hwbs@com --> same with sftpserver

    Directory name : D:\BTS3900 V100R009C00SPC231T_ALL(Software) --> same

    with sftpserver

    10. Remove all configuration with MML Command :

    ACT CFGFILE: MOD=LEAST, EFT=IMMEDIATELY;

    11. Add cabinet and board as below

    Note : for UBBP please choose baseband work standar : UMTS and LTE FDD

    ADD RRUCHAIN: RCN=0, TT=CHAIN, BM=COLD, AT=LOCALPORT, HSRN=0,

    HSN=3, HPN=0;

    ADD RRU: CN=0, SRN=4, SN=0, TP=TRUNK, RCN=0, PS=0, RT=GRFU, RS=GO,

    RXNUM=2, TXNUM=1, MNTMODE=NORMAL;

    13. Connect GRFU sector 1 to UBBP port 0

    14. Open EquipmentSuperTools-GRFU

    16. Click BBU and start, shown as below

    Click BBU Start Upgrade

    17. Reset Board Power off for GRFU , after board is up, GRFU will change to MRFU
